5 out of 5 eggs Data cord for Olympus camera 05/31/2015

This review is from: CB-USB5 USB6 USB Cable Cord For Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 6000 1050 8010 6020 3000 Camera

Pros: Works fine for charging and data.

Cons: My bad was that I thought I needed a separate cable to get the pictures loaded from the camera itself. I use my existing cable mostly for charging and when I inadvertently took pictures of my grand kids without an SD card I thought I needed another cable. I was wrong - This cable does both charging the battery in camera and retrieves the data from the internal memory on the camera. I already had one but now I have one for my work desk and one for home.

Pros: Works great and I needed something that could handle SDXC as well as the lower rated cards. This handles all my SD card needs. It is fast too.

Cons: No complaints

Pros: ok - The last post I made was because I was too impatient and did not let Windows 8 finished indexing the drive. (And that means Windows 8 defeats my purpose of wanting to hook up the drive and copy my photos and videos quickly whenever I decide to unload my SD card)

Cons: The pins do not look like they will put up with too many insertions of cards. I will have to take great care to insert cards carefully and not bump or move the reader when it is in use.

Other Thoughts: When you look for cheap stuff you get cheap stuff. I might have been better off if I purchase something higher in price yet more substantial.
