This review is from: SUNON HA40201V4-0000C-C99 40mm Case cooler
Pros: Another Cisco Catalyst 2950 install. As mentioned in another thread YOU MUST SWAP RED AND BLACK! The fan puts out -12VDC and fans run on positive voltage. Very, VERY quiet.
Cons: Although it flows a decent 5.5 CFM, it is only at 0.08inH2O. The stock fan was 8.5 CFM at 0.303inH2O. As long as the sides of the switch stay open it shouldn't be an issue.
Other Thoughts: When comparing fans of the same size you can have quite OR you can have high flow. In my case I probably could have done without a fan, but I wanted to put one in as a "just in case".
REMEMBER: SWAP RED AND BLACK LEADS IF INSTALLING IN A CISCO 2950 SWITCH! If you don't you risk letting the smoke out. Electronics run on smoke, and if you let it out they stop :)
This review is from: VANTEC 4+1 SATA II 300 & PATA PCI-E Combo Model UGT-IS100R
Pros: As others have mentioned this card adds a IDE/P-ATA and 2 SATA channels. Via jumpers you can configure it to use any combination of the four ports. In my case I needed two internal SATA ports, and this is the default settings.
Cons: I doubt I could use the IDE port even if I wanted to. It is about 1/4" from my top video card! If only they used a connector that plugged into the side of the card....
Other Thoughts: When I installed it Win7 (64bit) picked it up right away. DO NOT USE THE WINDOWS DRIVERS! My system would POST, but hang at the Windows screen. Using the provided drivers disk cured this, and the ports are hot swappable.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS9900ALED 120mm 2 Ball Low-noise Blue LED CPU Cooler
Pros: This has cooled three processors for me... First an i7-920, second a i7-960 and currently on my dad's i3. None were OC'd. It's dead silent.
Cons: Mounting it can be a pain. I didn't need three people, but I have managed a few scraped knuckles.READ FULL REVIEW
