SanDisk 2.5" 64GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDP-064G-G25
SanDisk 2.5" 64GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SDSSDP-064G-G25

Pros: It's an SSD. It works. Cheap. Plug and play. Faster than a hard disk. Low power and minimal heat generated. Silent.

Cons: Small capacity, but big enough for some uses.

Overall Review: Works for me in a pfSense (BSD) firewall and in Linux mint. If there are any advanced features (e.g. encryption) I didn't notice.

adequate for some uses

Nippon Labs HDB-252 Dual 2.5" HDD/SS Plastic Bracket
Nippon Labs HDB-252 Dual 2.5" HDD/SS Plastic Bracket

Pros: Cheap. Can hold two drives. Screws included.

Cons: Plastic. The screws included to mount the bracket to your case are slightly different than screws which are typically used to mount a 3.5 inch hard drive to your case. Perhaps it would not be a good idea to remove and remount this bracket repeatedly due to wear on the plastic screw holes. The screw holes are not in exactly the same place relative to the bracket exterior or to where the SATA connection ends up, compared to a real 3.5 inch drive.

Overall Review: I was able to use this bracket in my Jetway ITX case, and in one bay of my Ultra microATX case, but it would not fit in the other three bays of the microATX case due to screwhole misalignment. How hard can it be to make a bracket that aligns properly? Good grief.
