HP NAS ROCKS!
Pros: Rock solid. I wish that I could still get HP NAS boxes at a home server price point. I wouldn't sell mine for $1000.
Cons: No Windows Home Server support.
Overall Review: I wish a bought a bunch
Never realized blank media could be DOA!
Pros: N/A
Cons: These DVDs are worse than the RiDATA media that consistently produced coasters (purchased from Newegg prior to these). These cause DVD drives to hang when inserted - forget about trying to write to them! Tried about 25 of these on 6 different drives on three different computers running XP and Vista. In every case they caused the drive to hang. As soon as I put in any other brand/type of media there were no problems with the drives.
Overall Review: I knew I was taking a chance with RiDATA but had 100% success with prior Memorexs. I guess there are no longer any bargain, quality DVD +R DLs. Just ordered some Verbatims.
Works Like a Charm
Pros: All you have to do is plug in the cables and forget about it. It does what it's supposed to do flawlessly. It has never failed to automatically switch to the last powered up HDMI source. Picture quality is as good as a direct connection.
Cons: Not a thing
Overall Review: If you need to share an HDMI input you can't go wrong with this automatic switch.
garbage
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Don't work. My last DLs were Memorex and Verbatim. 50 out of 50 of these burned and played flawlessly. I've now burned two movies on these RiDatas and both hang after about an hour into the movies. The rest are going into the recycling bin. $20+ wasted. Buy either of the other brands for DLs!
Refund Finally Received
Best Price sent me a one foot cable instead of the 15' cable I paid for. Now they are saying they won't refund the tax I paid on the item. UPDATE: After spending way too much time on 18 emails back and forth I finally received my refund.
