MSI GeForce GTX 670 DirectX 11 N670GTX-PM2D2GD5/OC 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Seemed to work well but has progressively gotten hotter and louder at full load. Added an intake fan over the card recently - already have two exhaust fans - no improvement. Unbearable noise while playing the current release games. No pros today!

Cons: Full throttle GPU runs at 105 C with the fan at the max of 80%. Unable to run current games.

Other Thoughts: Sounds like an RMA with MSI is a big gamble - not sure who's RMA card I'll get back.

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Black Steel / Plastic Compact ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Handsome all black case - in and out. Easy access for drives and other add-ins. Great clearance for cooling and large video cards. Excellent ventilation capabilities. USB 3 on the front! Great piece of hardware - especially for this price.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Excellent box!

PC Power & Cooling ModXStream Pro Series 700 Watt 80+ Semi-Modular Active PFC Performance Grade ATX PC Power Supply (OCZ700MXSP)
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Two failures within 12 months - not much room here.

Cons: Failed within a year, replacement failed in less than 90 days. Too expensive to keep shipping - with the weight - and now lack of trust. Poor QA.

Other Thoughts: OCZ, as a brand, is off my build parts list. Never should there be two defective PSU's in such a short time.
