Pros: I like the braided cord and general design of the product. That is the only reason for giving it two stars.

Cons: These sound absolutely terrible to me.

Overall Review: I am an audio engineer with 20 years experience. This is my first experience with a balanced armature earbud, I based my purchase on these reviews. I can best describe the sound as harsh. I absolutely hate harsh midrange and this has plenty of it. What bass there is is tight, but there is very little of it. There are highs but I honestly couldn't listen to the earbuds long enough to describe them. Perhaps the frequency response is flat, but the human ear does not have the same curve, we are tuned to hear voice. Often times a device will be tuned with a mid range cut to provide our ears with a more balanced listening experience. Some manufacturers these days, such as speaker manufacturer KRK, are tuning their speakers to be more flat, which actually winds up sounding to the human ear as a midrange boost which is probably what is happening with these ear buds. I really can't think of a musical style that these would sound good with.
