nice looking
Pros: It looks great and works great. Small, fits easily everywhere. Nice looking.
Cons: It is slow IF you transfer few small files at a time.
Overall Review: I got it from a store. I think this is one of those green drives that takes a while to wake up before transfer starts, and sleeps right away after the transfer to conserve energy. If you are not going to use it constantly, it is a good drive. Otherwise it'll feel slow every time you transfer only a few small files at a time. I use it for backup and transfer, I also used it to watch movies from and it worked pretty good, not slow at all. I guess the key to make large transfers so the wakeup time doesn't bother you. I never thought I'd care about the looks but this thing looks great. Very nice, compact design like an Apple product.
glares!!
Pros: Fits the screen, surprisingly easier to install than some other protectors I have used for other devices.
Cons: Too much glare!! I'm very tempted to remove it, just waiting until I purchase another brand.
works when it works
Pros: got it for 25 bucks on cyber monday. not bad for this kind of product.
Cons: making it work is BIG hassle. See below.
Overall Review: 1-It does not play nice with WPA-TKIP/WPA2, it drops connection and tries to connect again every two seconds or so according to the logs of my router. It works ok with WEP though. I was able to make it work with WPA/WPA2 before for a while, but not anymore, even after hard resets. 2-The software and the user guide is below average. They don't even mention the reset button! 3-When it says "unable to complete" at the end of setup, chances are it actually completed it just FINE, there might be some bug in the software that doesn't get ACK from the device or something. 4-Every time I hit the rescan, it shows a completely different signal strength for the other networks. 5-Doing the same thing twice (such as setup) does not produce the same result?! The software sometimes finds the device, sometimes it doesn't. Same thing with setup. Conclusion: if you are fine with WEP, and FOLLOW the obvious route of setup without getting too fancy, it MAY work. OK for 25 bucks I guess.
works fine with big hands.
Pros: comfy little mouse, tiny RF dongle is great. If you are worried it's too little, don't be. It works even on carpet!
Cons: None yet. Others say it dies within a year, I have still 9-10 months to go.
Overall Review: I bought it couple of months ago from another store for almost half price. First day or two I had to adjust to it since my previous mouse was bigger. I'm 6' and with kinda large hands but I have no problems with it right now. The dongle is always on which was the main reason I bought it. I use it both in windows and linux. Works great so far.
good drive
Pros: I use it for backup/storage, it does the job.
Cons: None I know of.
Overall Review: I can't say anything about reliability since it's sitting in the drawer 99% of the time as my backup/storage drive.
peculiar pricing
Pros: Great for the price.
Cons: It got more expensive??
Overall Review: I bought two of these SEVEN years ago and they were two bucks cheaper with free shipping. go figure.
