This is thing is so awesome it's frightening

ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router
ASUS RT-N66U N900 Dual-Band WiFi Gigabit Router

Pros: I'm pretty good at networking, but I don't love to spend hours (or even minutes) doing things like getting all my devices and computers online. This thing was online in about 6 minutes. It took an extra couple minutes because the AC adapter plug is pretty big so I had to creatively arrange other things that were plugged in. If you have lots of room on your power strip, knock 4 minutes off your time. After I got it online, I got all my devices and computers online in approximately 11 seconds because I cheated and used the same SSID and key from my last router (the formerly awesome Buffalo WHR-HP-54 which has lasted me about 6 eons. It has been having some issues with excessive wireless signals in our complex lately and frequently at least 1 device will fail to make it online - so it was time to RIP the Buffalo. I have not touched anything since I set it up. I hid my broadcasting and that was it. Everything has been happily online and behaving ever since and the speed/range are stellar. I really thought the Buffalo was doing fine with that, but I was stuck in my little rut of acceptance, apparently.

Cons: Weirdness with the WAN/LAN plug in locations, as described in other posts. They are on top of the unit which can cause um.. ugliness and possible instability if you are as clumsy as I am.

Overall Review: Thank you Newegg. Bought this on Cyber Monday and it was here 2 days later. Unbelievable. Even though all my Newegg orders come this fast, I'm still surprised every shipment.

Good value for non-pro's

Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 11 for Windows & Mac - Full Bundle Version
Adobe Photoshop & Premiere Elements 11 for Windows & Mac - Full Bundle Version

Pros: I used to dabble in PS "back in the day" but I have never been an artist. I bought this because I needed to make simple web graphics and edit videos. To date, I have not edited a single video, so I can't comment on that yet. However, I have made several web graphics, and I've also edited several photos. In fairness, I'm a huge fan of Picasa for simple editing of photos because it can't get any easier than "I'm feeling lucky". I don't like/know enough about editing photos in this PS 11 to properly comment on it, however I will say it's not as intuitive as Picasa. It also seems that Picasa is better at it, but again, not familiar enough. In time, I will learn, but in the meantime, I need Crop and I'm Feeling Lucky and nothing further because the majority of the photos I edit are being uploaded to our Facebook business page. So moving on to graphics creation. Our small business has a website so we need graphics too. I like this program for that! The interface is a good bit different from the PS I remember working with years ago (no surprise) but I was able to find everything I needed, and create graphics that looked pretty professional very quickly. This made me so happy I can not explain. It's been years, and I've forgotten a lot.. and I was never an artist to begin with. So, if you're a pro, get the real one. If you need graphics, and you're not a pro, you're going to be very happy with this.

Cons: Photo editing - Not very intuitive for the average user. If your photo did not come out of the camera perfect, you're going to have a tougher time cleaning it up. If you just need to crop, get Picasa.

Overall Review: Thanks Newegg, super happy with this purchase. :)

I can finally relax

OtterBox Commuter Glacier None Case For Samsung Galaxy S III 77-21392
OtterBox Commuter Glacier None Case For Samsung Galaxy S III 77-21392

Pros: Awesome. Also: Fits very snuggly Not slippery Slots perfectly cut out Access point tabs fit well and are not going to come loose anytime Surprisingly attractive (white/gray) You get a real feeling of security with a phone that is a disaster waiting to happen. And I'm on Galaxy S3 number 3 due to previous disasters waiting to happen. Yesterday I dropped this phone in the grocery store and almost died from the fear. The last 2 S3's were destroyed by almost identical drops. Not a single mark, crack, shatter or even a smudge. PHEW! A word about the case design. I REALLY did not want an otterbox or any other "bulky" case because the S3 is simply a gorgeous phone - I thought what is the point of getting something so beautiful and then covering it up? I was lucky enough to have a friend with an S3 and this case. I realized it is actually not that bulky, and the design, while being far from "sexy" is still fairly elegant. The phone looks GOOD. Additionally, after obliterating 2 other S3's, I became a lot less worried about the size of my phone ;) This is an obviously well-designed case, looks far more expensive than it is, and it does the job. This phone lived through a drop the other two did not survive.

Cons: Isn't invisible Does not do dishes

Overall Review: A bonus "feature" - I am not sure this was intended but it really helps to make me less crazy. I use my phone all day as a pet sitter. All. Day. I'm shooting videos, taking pics, texting and calling clients, uploading to our sites, etc. One thing that drove me insane was the super sensitive volume rocker on the side. I was forever accidentally zooming and turning my sounds off and on. This case stops that cold. You DO have to press hard to get the power and volume buttons to do their thing, but that's a huge plus for me.
