3 out of 5 eggs Too Small for Windows 7 12/31/2010

This review is from: Intel X25-E SSDSA2SH032G1 2.5" 32GB SATA II SLC Enterprise Solid State Disk

Pros: You already know....

Cons: Due to Windows winsxs file duplication within the OS, you will not have ANY room on this drive after 1 or 2 years.

The 'basic' OS load and normal day-2-day applications are too much for a 32GB drive on Windows 7.

Other Thoughts: All user-data, all VM's, Office, large program-installs, games, files, media, music etc is NOT on the OS drive. It is all loaded on a 2tb (4x500gb raid 0) 'drive'.
Even with these changes/modifications to the standard operation(s) of Windows, 32(29)GB is just too small. Plan on getting 2, or going for the 64GB unless you plan on frequent re-imaging.
