Does this product allow two desktops to simultaneously connect to Ethernet?

So keep in mind, this is just a switch. You'll still want to connect this switch to a router, which then connects to your Modem. Think of this device as a way to give you more ports to connect to than what your Router can provide. Internet -> Modem -> Router -> Switch
