Pros: This a great adapter i use it with my xbox 360 , i just pluged it in and my xbox recognized it right away,I get a great signal with my router being all the way up stairs.I got this because i was tired off the piece off junk adapter microsoft sells for da 360.

Cons: It gets hot .Stays on all the time wish there was a power button ,not really a con, i just unplug at nite when not in use

Overall Review: first microsoft adapter fried after 2 months off having it, the second one i got was DOA .

Pros: Good speed - good coverage.

Cons: Cell phones/ cordless phones can disrupt the signal and force the bridge to lose connection to your router.

Overall Review: Good bridge - I do recommend it, but make sure you or someone you know has an understanding of wireless networking. I struggled w/ it, because this is my 1st wireless network.

Pros: Bought this device for my xbox360 which is downstairs, have yet to lag, can stream High-Res video(near HD) via TVersity without a hitch.

Cons: Gets hot. Had to reset once or twice *had it for a year* (so not really a con)

Overall Review: Paired this with my DLink DI-624, can get 4-MAX bars even though the router is upstairs, with 4-5 walls in between the two.

Pros: Other agree with me that this product is garbage.

Cons: This product stinks. Linked up with my DI-624 rev C, at a not too far distance the signal strength was only 53%. I had to drop my DI-624 back down from WPA2/AES to WPA/TKIP since thats all it supports. Once i made them link up at SuperG i had massive packet loss and absurd high ping times. Disabling Super G connectivity was stable and responsive. But why buy this product then?? DO NOT TRY TO BRIDGE MULTIPLE DEVICES BEHIND IT. I dont care what other people say. It flat out does not work.

Overall Review: I purchased 2 7dBi High Gain antennas to prevent signal issues. Obviously that didn't help. I guess is you can get your SINGLE device close, disable super G, lower your security settings you may get OK results. NEXT!

Pros: I've got several that are small and square and they work great.

Cons: I've gotten a couple that are more rectangular shaped (and come with wall mounting bracket the square ones do not have) - these units seem to overheat(?) or something and they quit working.

Overall Review: The comment regarding them not working as a bridge is inaccurate they work great as bridges... that is what I use them for. I extend my network wireless from one floor to the next with one and then I have several wired devices connected to this one bridge. I think what the other reviewer is looking for is a wireless range extender or an access point - which it is not.

Pros: Thing is small, cheaper than most gaming adapters (especially the xbox 360 one), and good connection (when configured).

Cons: Had some problems at the start, connection kept on clogging up but I fixed it by activation the Super G mode. It also gets hot, but not that hot for me.

Pros: It's the Swiss Army Knife of Ethernet WiFi Extenders. It does Gaming Console. It does NAS HDD's It does Computers and Notebooks w/ Ethernet (and a dead or no WiFi). It does Ethernet network connected Printers, even 3 in 1's just great What doesn't it do if you have a Ethernet connected device?

Cons: Apparently only a DOPE (Daniel C. posted on 1/23/2008) can't figure out how to set one up.

Overall Review: I've had a couple of these since they came out and even though I've been doing Home and SM/B Network IT for decades, I was amazed how easy this unit was to set up. I've bought 20 or 30 of these for clients I've worked for too, setting up they homes or offices with remote devices that only had Ethernet connectivity. Never once had a problem. It's too bad that D-Link no longer makes these, even an 802.11N version.
