The style of this board is what drew me to it initially. Love the stealth no RGB nonsense. Built with quality and solid as a rock Great IO and features for the price
If you're looking for all the latest, PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot, along with and x4 PCIe 4.0 and a 3rd M.2 for extra storage this motherboard has it all. Good built-in MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, both rock solid and good placement of the annenna's no need for an external antenna base. BIOS seems good, A-RGB is nice to have at this price point and DDR5-6000 OC with EXPO... although my memory couldn't handle this for whatever reason not the motherboard's fault. Running this with a Ryzen 7800X3D and except for the $25 price drop after I bought this board, no regrets.
Good looking, lots of ports, and Sturdy
lots of connectivity, more than most will need for a board this size, bios seems very full featured, but i'm not a tweaker, so i don't fiddle with the bios too much
-Divers are super easy to set up -Super fast -easy setup
I'm mid-build and this motherboard seems to check all the boxes and at a great price
Came with UEFI and Secure Boot enabled, which was a pleasant surprise. The BIOS was only a few months old so I haven't even bothered to consider updating. Everything worked first time as expected
Has every modern convenience you need for a 9800X3D (or similar) platform.
No issues when installing and looks nice. Works very will with my 9800x3d
Went from MSI Z690 Pro to this MSI B850 and windows loaded right up. Did not have to do a clean install. I had the Windows USB boot drive installed and instead of asking me for a clean installed, it somehow downloaded what was needed and booted. Remember to have the internet connect through cable. Only problem I had was with Windows recognizing my key but Windows support helped me getting Windows acivated. All good now
No complaints about this motherboard. Setup was easy and all connections were logical and where they should be located on the board. 8000MT/s GSkill RAM booted up flawlessly and I was able to tighten the timings as well. Overclocking with the 9800X3D was easy and straightforward. Temps are great as well.
I replaced an Asrock X670E PG with an ASUS X870-A which brought out the potential of my Ryzen 9 7950x, Samsung 980 M2 drives, and Asus TUF 4070 super, revitalizing my fading gaming rig. The performance in Cyberpunk 2077 at Ultra quality was greatly improved, no more laggy movement and smearing scenery.
Easy installation and had just the right features I needed for the build. Paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz and the Kingston FURY Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) it bundled with in addition to another set for 32GB total. The board is running fine so far and does what I need it to do. Overall happy with this board.
Works well, seems stable. Lots of adjustability for the 'bios' settings for adjusting power and frequency, etc.
A sturdy motherboard that has plenty of connections and rear io ports. The board was very easy to flash with a usb out of the box. Asus's driver program is really helpful at identifying what needs to be updated. Armory crate is pretty good too. The look of the board is really clean and matches my build really well.
Easy Install Easy Setup Solid Overclocking
* Fast boot time, once the Memory training phase has taken place. * Beautiful aesthetics * Plenty of VRM power and heatsinks to power a 7950X with overclock and do it with low temps. * For me, having 2 other PCIe lanes that are not 5.0 is a win, as I use add in cards. * My board Posted the first time I fired it up, after Memory training. * Wi-Fi 7 * The BIOS is about as good as anyone else's out there. Easy to navigate. Good Job! * The heatsink covers for the SSDs just clip on and off, and it is very nice. * On board Start and Reset buttons with lighted HEX code read out. In white light even, not red. * I believe this Motherboard is competitively priced, considering what you get and what the competition is offering. * Everything is working as it should, with no issues. * I did not have to put a Mortgage on the house to buy this.
When I first picked it up you could tell the quality by the weight. Heat sinks are abundant throughout the board. Didn't have any problems with not posting. .
No lane sharing with the GPU PCIe slot.
