Good battery backup at a good price
Great product. Seamless switch to battery. Quality of APC for homeowners needing low watt demand. DO IT its worth it!!!! *** I have more UPCs in a commercial environment than I know what to do with.......this is in my personal residence, I know what a good UPC is.
Length: it's shorter than others so it will mount fine in 2 post racks using included heavy-duty mounting brackets. Price: excellent value for your dollar. Tons of features you would not expect for a device under $1000. Quiet: does not make a horrible racket like other UPS in its class. Just a periodic chirp and light fan sound. Powerful: 20A means you can put more load on it and it will charge faster.
Easy to view screen is very helpful.
-No sound coming from my unit which looks to have been built in March. -Charged up nicely and held up my system with about a 400W load when I pulled the plug in a test to make sure everything stayed on and powered off on its own. -Has a nice screen to show all information that goes dark when not in use. -Plenty of nicely spaced plugs.
No issues after 2+ years of use.
Very quiet. Small. Does the job that my old APC SMART UPS 2200 did. Nice clear LCD screen in the front that clearly represents information. USB enabled. Energy efficient.
1U and Rackmount - The battery fits perfectly in a 1U slot on my rack, and is narrow enough to work with most rails. The handles can be optionally attached if you need an extra 1/4-1/2" of thickness depending on your rail kit, allowing it to be compatible with even more kits. Front Panel LED is easy to read, not too cluttered with useless icons. The uncovered button changes the info displayed, cycling between Input Voltage, Output Voltage, Battery Run Time (Minutes), Load Capacity (in %), and Battery Capacity (in %). 6 outlets on the back panel: 4 battery/surge and 2 surge-only. There are additional ports (USB, serial, RJ-11/45), but I didn't use those, so not sure how well they work.
The SMC1000C model (600w) may be sufficient for most gaming PC's. Mine is overclocked and uses more power than most so I opted for the SMC1500C (900w) model.
Great unit for the low cost. I've had other cyberpower products in the past and haven't had any failures. This was for a 12" deep wall hung rackmount, so the slim depth was the main thing I had to keep in mind when selecting a ups, fit great with lots of rear room still for plugs and adapters. Vandal-guard power button cover is a nice touch to prevent accidental power off, voltage display is nice to have as well.
reliable cost effective performer work horse asset

This battery is awesome. I replaced a couple of smaller UPS's with this one in a telco closet.. love the fact that i can just plug this into our comcast business modem and it goes to the net and does it's thing in the cloud. This did come with a 20Amp plug so i had to change it over to the regular straight plug.. but you can get adapters for those.
It is working fine. The information displayed on the LCD is nice to know and could be important later.
So far so good. The item works great. it has an APPLEESQUES look and has the plugs all on one side.
