Easy setup Clean looking Easy management

- Solid AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) - it actually works as advertised. I consistently get 140V-160V (yikes) voltage spikes and dips to 90v at my apartment (the wiring is terrible and the landlord doesn't care). This unit protects my computer and other electronics from those spikes. -Switches to battery without any of my electronics flickering when the AVR range is exceeded. -Long battery run time. The front panel reports over 2 hours on idle at desktop and up to 7 minutes under a 400w load (running BOINC).

Lots of outlets, a "master" power plug can shut power off to peripherals when the tower is off. Fit and finish seem very good.

Ok, to get this out of the way--ONE button does everything. Not the most convenient thing for consumers to do but simplifies things for the maker of the product except when people call them and go "blah blah, how do I do this or dat?" The instructions come with it on how to set settings though. Voltage trip range could be set to sensitive, normal, or high. I left it on normal, which is preset, and it tripped once within a week--I heard a click from the unit, which means it activated. Also, audio alarm could be disabled (or couple other options as to when it would activate), all of which also is set by one button.. meh. You have to hold button for so long, blah, do so long of a press blah, blah blah... meh. Green power LED is very nice looking but too bright for bedrooms, so I had to put a sticky note paper over it and paint that area with a black permanent marker (in reverse order) to keep that light from shining brightly in the room. Overall: it is a very nice polished looking product for a reasonable price.

Using this battery for the HDTV, Uverse box, and stereo equipment with very common brown-outs in our area. This gives me time to shut down the TV and stereo properly instead of crashing everything. Not even a hiccup during momentary power losses.

Simple battery connection and change out, no need to use screws and dis assemble the unit like other brands. I have had these ware out over many many years but they still last the longest and easy to swap out old batteries is a must for me.

Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!
