It works just fine with my active PFC power supply, which is an older Ultra X3 1000watt. I just pulled the plug from the wall to test, the thing switched over just fine, and I'm currently writing this on battery. What can I say? Its hard to get too excited over a UPS.
i have 1 gaming pc ,a ps4,a router and 2 monitors pluged into it. i love that it has a display of the load on it.
Powerful, well made and with numerous outlets and great features
I've had this about 2 weeks. This replaced a Cyberpower UPS that died. Not much to say about a UPS. I bought this to place behind my TV and console. I was tired of loosing power for a second and having to wait an eternity for the cable DVR to boot back-up. Living in the lightning capital of the USA we see a great deal of power outages. The size and design of this UPS works great for my application. I have my TV, WiFi Router, DVR and Google TV player on this UPS with no problems. Hopefully this will provide the back-up I need for short outages and brown-outs.
I have 3 of these. The geometry works well for my use case. Has USB charging port.
Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on.
Simple battery connection and change out, no need to use screws and dis assemble the unit like other brands. I have had these ware out over many many years but they still last the longest and easy to swap out old batteries is a must for me.
Easy setup Clean looking Easy management
Well packed manufacturer packaging. Very clear multi-lingual user manual that is well worth the time reading the few pages in your chosen language. Very clear warning markers attached to UPS. Very difficult to install and use this unit without seeing the warning marker to connect the internal batteries. Silent operation; it does not have any fans on/in it that I can tell. Novel "master slave" outlet pairing. Lose power to the "master" device and the "slave" device turns off immediately. The manual tells me this feature is disabled by default, but read the user manual carefully to fully understand it's operation.
Didn't have to mess with it to get it up and running. Previous UPSes had to have the battery connected. Not so here. The one brief power blip I have had allowed my computer to keep running.
Big enough Battery to never have to worry about a little power lose. Keeps my Router and NAS powered up during power outages.
This is a great little battery backup that supports PFC.
Plenty of outlets, both batter-backup and surge-protected. No setup required, just plug it in. Battery replacement will be a snap when the time comes (battery cover comes off without having to undo screws). 650VA is plenty for a laptop & docking station, with a couple of monitors. The footprint isn't tiny, but small enough for my home-office setup.
Lightweight Small footprint
It supplies backup power to the connected devices during storms. We connect our 5G Home Internet gateway to it, so the UPS keeps it running when there is a moment of outage.
Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!
Totally quiet when no on battery, so it's defintely home theatre worthy Out of the box with synology products Weight is reasonable. Power button has a clean plastic protector good enough for light child proofing ;o) Offers peace of mind for hooking up a nas to it. Looks decent in a home theatre rack, the information lcd turns off after a while, so the usint is discrete until you have a need to nerd out on the info.
- Thin profile and modern design - Full featured, including USB charging ports - Front access battery compartment for easy access - Right angle plug to fit flush against the wall - LCD screen, really nice functionality - Alarm mute button right on the front - Cooling fan
