- Fits large heads and ears - Large, deep earcups - Great battery life - Outstanding sound quality - Extremely comfortable - Very adjustable - Beautiful to look at for both work and play - Lighting is unobtrusive - Raise to mute - Mute button - Rock solid Bluetooth connection - Pairs to multiple devices - Removable mic - Physical volume knob - Press knob to pause (even works with Youtube on PC, love this) - The charging base is so good, I never want another pair of headphones without it. The headset is always charged! It, too, has a great Scandinavian aesthetic. - Includes a dongle for gaming. Haven't needed it, but good to know it's there. Bluetooth is known to be unreliable for gaming in some situations.
Lightweight and great sound
- comfortable ear cups, detachable mic - solid construction + lightweight - on-ear controls are useful + easy to use; can swap between 3 EQ presets - battery life is good, wireless charging is great and auto-powers the device on or off - easy setup + browser based configuration (online or offline) - range is great; i had to get to the end of my driveway before it started artifacting hard
This is a follow up of my previous review. After additional time with my SAROS C740S wireless headphones I want to report I am more pleased than first reported. I have been using them quite frequently. Have lots of music. About to fill up a 128GB TF(SD) disk with MP3 music. My comments result from a comparison of three modes, from streaming service to actual CD. The music service I used is one of the good ones but like almost all they stream HD about 160kbps compared to 320kbps for MP3. Did my research on this over the internet so you can check that out if you desire. My original report commented that they were not $300 Concert Headphones, however I am finding that they are responsive over the broad frequency range. My first review was on streaming internet music in wireless mode only. I later found this is not the best music I have heard so I have since tested them three ways. I decided to use my own CD (pardon my taste), Chumbawamba Creepy Crawling track 8. This has deep bass Guitar for the test. I tested 1-Streaming Music Service over Desktop PC with SAROS headphones wired through sound card plug; 2- Using a copy of this song from my CD in Lame MP3 format; and 3-Acutal CD playing track 8 Creepy Crawling on my Desktop CD /DVD player. RESULTS: the streaming service (1) I first used in my original review was heard with muted bass, missing some sound quality that makes the music come alive. Next was my MP3 copy off my CD, Very good. Nice bass response on guitars and heard better background music. The BEST was the actual CD. Not a great deal of difference between CD and MP3 but it still was noticeable. WOW! Very noticeable difference between CD (3) and music streaming service (1). The SAROS C740S gave me all I needed off the CD to change my original review comments. This 5 star rating also includes my evaluation of product quality versus price.
Decent Volume, tells you when you mute or un-mute the mic, has RGB, can turn off the RGB, fabric covered head and ear pads, can be used while charging, USB dongle easily fits in the back of my MSI MAG271CQR and leaves the other USB port open, Mic status light indicator
I use my Cloud Alphas for gaming, streaming movies, and listening to music. They perform beautifully for each. Exactly what I was hoping for in a headset. Directional sounds in games are clear. The mic provides a clear sound and masks background sounds - per friends and family I asked when using the headset for the first time. I like that the mic is removable, so it is not in my way when watching movies or just listening to my favorite playlists. And I can wear the headset for hours of game play without feeling the discomfort I experienced with my old headset. Movie sounds from dialog to explosions are sharp. But, more important for me, is that the headset also shines when listening to music. I listen to a range of music from classical to blues to rock to metal, and the headset holds its own from highs to lows.
When I 1st opened them I thought they looked kind of small. Much smaller than the my previous Logitech ones. I thought they would squish my ears which can cause headaches for me. But I'm pleasantly surprised. They fit fine, maybe a bit better than my old ones.
-Very comfortable -Sound very clear with no distortion -Lightweight -Great sounding Microphone -The Blue software is nice
They are not the best but for the price is exactly what I expected.
Good bass Easy splitter setup No usb to the computer in addition to splitter cable
Soft, long battery, great quality
Great headset all around
- Great Bass and sound quality - Headphones are super comfortable even wearing for extended gaming sessions - RGB lights are cool but not really noticeable by the user but is cool anyway since i have RGB KB and mouse.
Great battery endurance on my HS60's (lasted over two years), on one charge, the battery lasts over 12 hours on these also great sound, don't need to install the iCue software to get them to work, very comfortable for all day use. Just plug and play!
Connectivity, comfort.
