Worked right out of the box. Great price. Lots of storage space. Normal form factor (not bigger than any other HDD in my server)

Worked as advertised,

Great value for money, reliable, huge storage

- Works with standard SATA data cables - Has (approx) 4 TB on it (Despite memory formatted for allocation, but all drives have this) - Very Cheap for the size, and a very competitive price point for the market

Received drive where it was in a frame in center of box which was in a semi secure Newegg box. Plugged in drive into old mediasonic probox that was rated for 8tb drives. Worked fine. Ubuntu says you have to format that 16tb size as GPT and that worked fine. Over 14tb usable space. Temp of drive is similar to my 4 and 8tb WD red drives and is much cooler than the 10tb WD Plus drive. Speed was high at around 200MB transfer rates. Noise was slightly higher than the 4tb WD drives, but still low. Drive is new, not used, not recertified. Manufacture date is March 2023 which is when the warranty starts, so not very long ago.

Great hard drive, I have trusted Seagate for years. I even have an old Seagate IDE 500 MB hard from my 1st computer from the early 90's and it still works and has info stored on it. I have owned and installed many hard drives over the years and Seagate always gives me dependable service, where as the few others I have tried (ie; WD,) have died shortly after the warranty expired.

Easy setup and easy copying

Space for expansion

Good size for a NAS

- Reliable - Large - Good value

Easy to installno issues!!!

Installed in a As1104T NAS. Installation was simple and the drive has performed well. Its quiet in Operations and, so far, has had no problems in use across the network. Newegg has been a recent "go to" for my network storage needs.

Works great (so far). 200MB/s throughout with my other red nas pro drive.

Added to Unraid array with no dropped sectors.

240+MiB/s sequential write speed while connected to a USB3 dock. Came very well packaged.

Easy to set up. Fast transfers and a small footprint. I traditionally swap out my external drives about once a year. Each year they get bigger. This year I bought 2 5TB drives to replace my older pair of 2TB drives. (My old ones will remain an archive.) So far, I have only activated one, but it is working fine.
