As I said in a prior review for a WD I would recommend this drive over a comparable WD. However in some case(s) I would recommend the WD over a Seagate. It really depends on the trade off(s) and so on. The Seagate ran just a tad hotter than I would like. About 12 degree(s) over. At about 111 degree Fahrenheit. That may not seem hot but over the long term will add up. I also had it in a external docking station.

Hard drive was a perfect fit for my laptop. After it being down for about 7 years due to hard drive issues im so glad i was able to get it up n running good.

Installed in my PS4. Noticeably faster than the stock HD and twice the storage space. For a 1TB 7200 RPM you really can not beat the price.

The drive is very slim and lightweight. The height is only 7 mm. The drive interface is 6 Gbps SATA and the cache is a hefty 128 MB. The price for such a large drive is very reasonable. Performance is good overall for a 5400 RPM drive, likely because of the large cache (see other for benchmarks).

Everything!! I ordered an SSA drive in error. I wanted an SATA. I contacted E.O.L. Tech and explained. They immediately sent me what I really wanted and trusted I would return the one I bought (which I did). The replacement was done at no charge. People list this are very few and far between.

Great performance for a 2.5" drive. 5 year warranty is very nice.

This is a nice 1TB enterprise Seagate drive in a 2.5" form factor. I'm running this drive in a workstation. It came with a 5 year warranty. (Please note, this most likely will not fit in a laptop, if that is what you are seeking to do. It is much taller than a typical laptop drive.) So far, I'm very happy with it.,

I've purchased at least 20 of these drives as replacement units for my small computer repair shop. Streaming reads max out just under 100 MB/sec. I have yet to return a single unit.

Upgraded 30GB 5400RPM OEM drive in a 3 year old Latitude last week. Clean install was a breeze. This upgrade has cut my boot time in half but then I got rid of some imbedded junk by doing a clean installation. Programs load much faster. Very fast drive. Quiet. No Problems !!! No issues at all.

We purchased a PS3 12GB to give the kids 2 PS3's so they would stop fighting. Found out that 12Gb is way short to operate as a game system. Did a search on New egg and this hard drive showed to be a fit. To everyone's delight it was a perfect fit. Install was straight forward with no issues. Everyone is happy
