Great build quality. All the features you need and more.
-Switched from Atx to micro Atx on a new build. Everything honestly works better and i definetely am not short on any features.
Solid feeling board, BIOS seems to have lots of options, plenty of room for everything to be installed and easy to work with. Have not tried overclocking the RAM yet but will update once I do. Great board for the price.
this board working good awesome easy to setup driver is easy!
-Awesome budget motherboard that delivers a phenomenal gaming experience. -Awesome user manual makes for easy installation -Very sturdy, can easily see and feel its quality -Ryzen -Easy navigation through BIOS -Troubleshooting LED indicators allow easy diagnosis of potential problems within hardware systems
The board has all the right ports and plenty of options when it comes to your NVME or SATA drives. I also appreciate the heatsink for one of the SSD spots. It also looks very nice in a black tower white would also give a good look. It definitely isn't built cheap, which gives it a durable and nice feel and look. All of the ports feel good and stable. It is very helpful to have a few different troubleshooting lights as well! That really helped me when I was figuring out my graphics problem.
Came with UEFI and Secure Boot enabled, which was a pleasant surprise. The BIOS was only a few months old so I haven't even bothered to consider updating. Everything worked first time as expected
Performance outsurpasses a moderate gamers needs The GPU quick release is clutch if you like to swap parts quickly (note: see cons) Clean look, RGBs are a nice touch Plenty of 2.0 headers, RGB headers ASUS Bios is very easy to use
Went from MSI Z690 Pro to this MSI B850 and windows loaded right up. Did not have to do a clean install. I had the Windows USB boot drive installed and instead of asking me for a clean installed, it somehow downloaded what was needed and booted. Remember to have the internet connect through cable. Only problem I had was with Windows recognizing my key but Windows support helped me getting Windows acivated. All good now

MOBO has a heavy weight feeling making it feel premium and tough. The LEDs are a nice addition to have! Lots of ports and runs excellently.
Compatible with Windows 11
Works well, seems stable. Lots of adjustability for the 'bios' settings for adjusting power and frequency, etc.
- Easy upset. - Easy updating of the Bios. - Nice Bios menu.
It has been 13 years since I last built up a PC but was forced to with Microsoft shutting down Windows 10. I've probably built 6 PCs from scratch since the 1980's but have upgraded dozens over the years - friends and churches. This is my second Gigabyte - all the others were Asus. Why are people complaining about the x16 bus having an optional split into 2 Nvme x4 plus an x8? It still gives you two other x4 Nvme (one being gen5). That allows plenty of storage for just about anyone. I can only see using these other two slots if you wanted to configure a RAID. So they gave an option that makes sense. I was lucky enough to score a 5070 GPU at MSRP. And by golly it sits on the x16 bus as gen5. My Nvme sits in the CPU slot as gen5x2. My other sits in the D slot as gen4x4. They both perform to their specs - so says Samsung magician. It's as good as it gets. I initially brought up the board with the internal Ryzen 9900 graphics. It works. I've utilized most of the front panel USB connections. As far as I can tell they are all working. I don't know what some reviewer meant by them not all working at once - if I encounter this, I'll update my review. I installed 2 32G sticks of DDR5600. I expected to have to go into BIOS and set it to 5600 but it adjusted automatically. My MB is in a 4U rack chassis. I have no need for RGB. (Seriously, what's the point?)
- works great. no issues.
Pros are the blue tooth and wireless built in. They board also allows flexibility in storge types
