I got 300+ Mb connection and it is very stable
Great AP, nice install with PoE that included power injector. We get solid dual-band wifi now. The separate controller software can easily manage multiple AP units, it's designed to handle large enterprise set ups. You can export the configuration and save/reinstall later as needed. There is a lot of community support available.
As far as I can tell, this is only a slight change to the RT-N12 B1 which is a very good thing. It has the same specs and can handle serious traffic without freezing. I run my entire PC repair shop off one and I've never had to reboot it. We've had multiple netflix streams, torrents, and basically anything else running through this without a problem. The range is exceptional and it's only been beat by a router that costs 5x as much. Setup was simple and the router is smart enough to alter its IP address to avoid conflicts with the modem.
- Fast, easy [enough] set-up.
Implements Client Mode which which is much simpler to use than DD WRT Bridge Mode. Very fast for N protocol
Simple setup. Covers my 4,000 sqft (single story) home with just three units. Less than half the price of other brands.
Easiest setup of a router I have ever had Works seamlessly, all bars at the farthest point in my house Practically plug and play The app is easy to use and has many useful features
Goes together easy, light weight, plenty of options. So far I am just casting a signal about 200 feet using two of these things aimed at each other as network bridges, the signal between them is -34db. It's configuration page is a little different, the terms used are different from what I am use to but I don't see this as a con, just required learning new terms.
I was intimidated by the sophistication of the TP-Link Omada WiFi infrastructure. Instead, this unit came configured out-of-the-box as a single access point bridging its WiFi network to the wired LAN. There was no complexity and no port forwarding for external access. I used the TP-Link TL-SF1005P PoE switch to power it and the port priority feature of the switch.
Much better 5ghz and 2.4ghz range than ISP provided solutions. Plugged into network, TP link controller adopted it in less that 2min. Mesh and load balance work good with less than 40 clients.
Worked right out of the box. Very easy setup. GUI navigation is simple and intuitive. Performance is as advertised. Excellent value.
The CPE-210 can easily be configured in just about any mode you might need to set up a wi-fi network, handling point-to-point linking, access point service outdoors or in a large warehouse or similar building, or as a repeater/booster to fill in weak areas. The Power Over Ethernet feature makes it easy to deploy, up to 200 feet from the AC power source. And the price point can't be beat.
The instructions provided the information to connect and configure the access point (AP). Power over Ethernet (POE) made installation clean.
