National Retail Federation Ranks Newegg Highly in Customer Service; Company Named "Best Place to Buy Online" by Computer Shopper Magazine

Additionally, for the sixth year in a row, Computer Shopper Magazine readers selected Newegg.com as "Overall Best Place to Buy Online."

Last week Newegg was honored as one of the top 10 winners for customer service at the Annual Retail Industry Luncheon during the National Retail Federation's 98th Annual Convention and EXPO in New York City. The NRF Foundation/American Express 2008 Customer Service survey, conducted by BIGresearch, a consumer insights research firm, was designed to gauge consumer attitudes toward retailers' customer service and to provide a listing of the top customer service retailers. This is the second year in a row Newegg has made the top ten list for Overall Best Customer Service, ranking sixth place this year, four places up from its tenth place ranking last year.
Earlier this month, Computer Shopper Magazine and ComputerShopper.com announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas its winners for the 22nd annual Shoppers' Choice Awards. The awards recognize Computer Shopper readers' picks for the year's best technology products, companies, and services in 47 categories. Newegg was distinguished as the "Overall Best Place to Buy Online" for the sixth year in a row, as well as "Best Place to Buy" in multiple categories including: Desktops, Notebooks, Software, Peripherals, and Components.
