First time buying BeQuiet. Very sturdy and well made. Modular design is great so you only use what you need. So far it is reliable and no problems. For me and my build the cables are of sufficient length.

Tons of power in an absolutely tiny package

- Unbeatable price with ongoing promotions for the features you get from a big brand like this - Plenty of included cables, which I hear is not always the case with PSUs - Cables were easily long enough for my uses - Sturdy main unit build - Simple to install - Packaging is simple and straightforward while still protecting the components - This is most likely only a personal problem I had, but my previous PSU's power cable (from a different brand) had wiggle room inside its port at the back of the unit, which could lead to it disconnecting. This one sits firmly in there so that's a lot more reassuring

The CORSAIR RM850 PSU has a black exterior and has no LED lights. The full modular PSU lets one utilize minimal cabling (i.e. ATX 24 pin for motherboard, 8 pin EPS for CPU). The remaining connections can be used as needed, up to 6 PCIe and 12 SATA, which is enough for most scenarios. The connectors click firmly. Installation was simple. The 80 Plus gold certified means this will be 87% efficient at loads from 20-100%.

I bought this PSU when building a NAS. The build is idling at ~50-60W, where it was using 80-100W with a much older, less-efficient ("bronze"-rated) power supply. If you want efficiency, it's worth the money. Modular power supplies are great. It's easier to build a PC without unnecessary cables crowding the case.

There is really everything to like about this supply, and very little not to like. At $50, I don't give a rip if the cables are modular, as long as it has the cables I need. I have bought one of these, and I plan to buy more. This makes a good entry level server supply with the twin 8 pin cpu power outs (in 2 4+4 connectors, so if you have a legacy board, you don't have to buy another cable, you can just use half of the 4+4, and continue dancing). I have generally had good luck with RaidMax, and have been pleased with what I receive. It is a lot of bang for the buck. Their 650's are very reasonably priced as well.

This product is high quality, has protected my PC from overloads a couple times. High end product being it was made in China.

The fan can be turned off if I am not playing games, provide a quiet environment for me. I tested the psu using the included 24-pin connector before installation to ensure that there would be no DOA issues after installing all the components. The 80 Plus Gold certification ensures the efficiency of the psu, high-efficiency psu reduces power waste.

Worked as expected, tested it with a 24pin jumper and it worked flawlessly. Full modular, easy to connect and manage cables. The matte finish of the power supply gives it a premium look and feel. Rate B+ on PSU tier list and it was on sale for $104.99, great value.

Compact , silent and good

Really happy with this PSU so far. It feels pretty solid and well built. The cables are also nice and flexible, so theyre not a pain to work with when building the PC. The included velcro straps are a nice touch too and make cable management a lot easier.
