Perfect

Nexus CFA-300 80 or 92mm to 120mm Fan Adapter
Nexus CFA-300 80 or 92mm to 120mm Fan Adapter

Pros: This fan adapter was exactly what I needed. My old eMachines case didn't have any options for a front intake fan but I managed to find some pre-cut holes that matched an 80mm fan pattern. Throw on this adapter and I have a nice 120mm intake fan that really improves the airflow into an otherwise crippled case.

Cons: The holes are made to adapt fans both ways so I did have trouble trying to use silicon fan mounts to secure the fan. Eventually got it to work but it wasn't the "right" way.

Overall Review: If you have the space to place a fan but don't have the mounts for it, this is your saving grace.

Budget Gamer

NZXT Source 210 S210-002 White w/Black Front Trim “Aluminum Brush / Plastic” ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
NZXT Source 210 S210-002 White w/Black Front Trim “Aluminum Brush / Plastic” ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is perfect for a gamer on a budget or for a new builder. There is ample room for cable management and even the front panel cables comes pre-routed. Tons of mounts for fans. For the price point and the look: it's hard to beat.

Cons: The "aluminum brush" finish is barely noticeable; just don't buy the case for that. I was afraid of stripping the side panel thumbscrews. Those things were TIGHT. Since this is a budget minded case, there is no rail system for the HDD or the Optical Drive bays.

Overall Review: This is my second NZXT case from Newegg. I haven't been disappointed with the features, quality, or value.

The right fit

Antec NEO ECO 400C 400W Continuous Power ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Antec NEO ECO 400C 400W Continuous Power ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Exactly what I needed to revive an old AMD system. A cheaper-than-OEM PSU failed but luckily didn't take any components with it. Replaced that burned out unit for this one. Has smart connector layouts for modern and slightly older systems. Would be easy to use for either SATA or IDE based systems.

Cons: Didn't read it until I checked just now and almost didn't notice it at all but the POWER CORD IS NOT INCLUDED. If you are building your first desktop and this is the supply you wanted to go with, you will need to find/buy a power cord. The color doesn't really match anything if that interests you. Not worth docking an egg.

Overall Review: I bought this PSU for $30 from a shell-shocker deal. Worth every penny.

Not Terrible

Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit (Full Version)
Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit (Full Version)

Pros: The preorder deal NewEgg offered was too good to pass up. I really preferred to have Windows 7 replace my Linux Mint on my PC but for 30 dollars less it is hard to beat. When it works, it is smooth. Did I mention the Windows Experience Score can go to 9.9?

Cons: Installation was a small pain. Might have been my SSD but took a while trying to get my hard drives in order for the install. There isn't a ton of driver support currently so an old 7 driver caused an error that already needed a restore. Having said that, there wasn't a huge problem after the restore.

Overall Review: Metro sucks? Eh, it's ok. I will say that I use the search feature quite often and it is handy. I do miss the Start Menu.

It Works Just Fine

Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model BLS2KIT4G3D1339DS1S00

Pros: Bought during a Shell Shocker deal. Was a great price and it works.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Not a full heat spreader? I call it a wash on that one.

Keeps Cool

Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - CPU Cooler with 3 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - CPU Cooler with 3 Direct Contact Heatpipes

Pros: Went with all CM fans in my build. The case is cramped and airflow will likely be an issue but so far this cooler has kept the CPU around 28-30C. Glad to have a cooler that isn't 160mm+tall

Cons: The plastic clips required some fiddling. I got it to work on try 2.
