Great Card if You Have the Power

XFX GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card PVT98FYDF9
XFX GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card PVT98FYDF9

Pros: Fast. Very Fast. The G9800 GTX GPU Chip is a very solid design. I really like the High Definition Support for video playback. I'm going to try and connect this to my HDTV. For games this is a great card at a great price. I am replacing an 8800GT with this card. Mostly for the HD video, but gaming is also sweet at 1600X1200.

Cons: This card is big. It will take two slots. You will lose your first PCI slot if it is installed on a non SLI motherboard. The fan can get a little loud, but it is not a deal breaker. <<<Caution you must have a power supply that supports SLI>>> This card requires TWO 6 pin PCIe connectors. It is thirsty for power. Most Power supplies only have one 6 pin connector.

Overall Review: Other than having to purchase a new power supply that had two 6 pin connections this card is GREAT. I am still in DX9.0c mode since DX10 isn't that great, and sacrificing Windows XP Pro for Vista is not an option for me. Plus DX10 is slower. If you want a great gaming card, this is a good way to go.

Works well but setup is a pain

ASUS PRIME Z490-P LGA 1200 (Intel 10th Gen) Intel Z490 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard (Dual M.2, DDR4 4600, 1Gb Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB Type-A, Thunderbolt 3 Support, Aura Sync RGB)
ASUS PRIME Z490-P LGA 1200 (Intel 10th Gen) Intel Z490 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard (Dual M.2, DDR4 4600, 1Gb Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB Type-A, Thunderbolt 3 Support, Aura Sync RGB)

Pros: Fast and boots right away Plenty of fan ports and even a water cooler pump connection

Cons: The BIOS is a pain It will boot to the BIOS forever - until you change the boot settings to UEFI The Manual is horrible, it explains how to build a PC but nothing on the BIOS settings Only has 4 SATA ports

Overall Review: It is a good board that works as advertised, however, they should have spent more time on the manual and less time on fancy LED lights that blink.

I've played them all - this one is great!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PC Game
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 PC Game

Pros: Single Player - AWESOME story line! A lot of disturbing situations. I freaked on the airport level! Graphics are amazing for a 2 year old engine. Same old gameplay - your character is the only Marine that can do anything. Multiplayer - FUN! I am part of a COD clan and yes I am disappointed that Dedicated server support isn't there yet. But it is EASY to link up with friends and play on the same server. There is a teamspeak(like) friends locator which allows the players to talk and find each other online. I like steam - I've lost my other disks and I can always re-download the games I have already purchased. Just like the original MW.....it takes a while to get used to. Relax. It's fun.

Cons: Linear gameplay like usual. Way too short of a Single player mission. What were they doing for 2 years? Multiplayer takes a while to get used to.

Overall Review: I still play COD MW online with my clan. But this is a great game.
