Pros: 1000 watts under $100 aesthetically pleasing
Cons: The modular cables from other BFG modular PSU's don't work together. The pins are not in the same shape, so if you try and use one with the other, your out of luck.
Overall Review: I had a 680 watt BFG modular before this one, but when i added my 3rd BFG9800gtx I got a message saying that it wasn't getting enough power and majorly slowed everything down....40fps on CSS with 3-9800gtx's kinda slow. All is mended now though :) SPECS: I5-750 quad core ASUS P7P55 WS SuperComputer Motherboard 8gb corsair xms3 1333 80gb ocz vertx 2 SSD 1.5tb WD caviar black 3x BFG 9800gtx's Thermaltake mozart Tx I have been a die hard BFG fan for a while now(3x 7600gt's, 3x 9800gtx's, 680watt PSU, 1000watt PSU) and have never had a single problem with any of them, its a dam shame they went under. Get it while you can, because even without the warranty its still a hell of a buy.
Pros: Well thought out, easy cable management. No sharp edges. Lian Li quality. All of the drive mounts have rubber grommets to stop vibrations. Its little things like that that make a difference. Easier to fit my 9800GTX in this case then my thermaltake mozart xt.
Cons: The space between the mobo and the door(not the usual door to access the HDD's and such) is a little tight. I try to hide as much of my cables back there and the mobo power cable makes it a little snug.
Overall Review: Happy as a clam
Pros: Its a fan, it moves air. Fairly quiet, fast typing easily drowns them out. Very nice rubber mounting corners to dampen the vibrations. Feels like a quality product. Came with black and silver mounting screws.
Cons: None so far, only installed yesterday.
Pros: Plays 1080i(haven't tried P) with no problems. Small, quiet, and cheap.
Cons: For some reason every driver EXCEPT for the nvidia beta drivers for it caused a blue screen after they were loaded. I tried both PCIe slots, drivers from the CD, drivers from nvidia, drivers from windows update, and the all caused a blue screen on next start up, except the Beta drivers which work wonderfully.
Overall Review: This is a great little card for the money.
Pros: -Smaller then one of the 3-9800gtx's it replaces -Windows gives it a higher rating then all 3 9800gtx's that it replaces 7.8 vs 7.7(all 3 cards running SLI)
Cons: -Feels kind of cheap, and not as sturdy as the 9800's -I don't know if its just the DVI cables I am using, but i had to use a DVI to HDMI cable to run 2 monitors off this card. The DVI out's are too close together on the card to fit 2 cables (although this is the same situation as the 9800's, so i'm thinking it may just be the cables)
Overall Review: I replaced (3) BFG 9800GTX's with one GTX 560. System is as follows: -EVGA GTX 560 -8GB CORSAIR XMS3 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) -RAID1 Western Digital Raptor 3000BLFS 300GB 10000 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Enterprise(X2) -ASUS P7P55 WS SuperComputer -BFG Tech EX-1000 1000W -Quad core Intel i5@2.67
Pros: -Cheap -Low standards to begin with
Cons: ***WILL NOT FIT 2x 2-1/2" WD raptors because they are too tall*****. The OCZ vertex 2, that recently died, fit just fine because i was a little bit shorter. Sort of cheap feel, but how often do you really move your drives around anyways?
Overall Review: I didn't really need it to fit 2 drives in, so no eggs taken off, but just know that not all 2 1/2" drives will fit.
