Incredible board for a questionable platform

BIOSTAR TA75MH2 FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
BIOSTAR TA75MH2 FM2 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Managed to not melt with a 5GHz a10-6800k overclock! Managed stable performance with 2400MHz DDR3 Beastly overclocker

Cons: Terrible platform even when it was new No upgrade path other than overclocking

Overall Review: I wish the whole APU thing went better but at least we have Ryzen now.

Crashes constantly in games even at low temps

ASUS TUF FX504GM-WH51 15.6" IPS FHD, Quad Core Intel i5-8300H NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 256 GB SSD 8 GB Memory Windows 10 Home VR Ready Gaming Laptop

Pros: Cheap, good specs

Cons: Crashes in the middle of games rendering it useless.

Overall Review: I wanted to like this laptop, but, despite the amazing price and specs, it just freezes and restarts constantly when under a combined cpu and gpu load like gaming, no blue screen, nothing in the logs to tell me what went wrong. It crashes despite temps being reasonable.

Solid Performance, needs an HDD and runs hot, though

Pros: Performs solidly in all the games I throw at it Really nice price for an i7 8750H and a GTX 1060

Cons: Runs Pretty hot Needs storage upgrades badly

Overall Review: This laptop performs great, despite the high temps it reaches it never crashes or turns off on its own. There was nothing wrong with it despite it being a refurb, only one small on the palm rest next to the touch pad.
