Great case, have used since 12/08
Pros: Drive space, cooling, excellent materials, easy to clean and easy to work inside.
Cons: A very large PSU might be a little tight for cabling and my cat sometimes steps on the top power button (cats fault and my fault...not really a problem with the case)
Overall Review: I buy cases to use for years so though the cost is high I did not put that as a negative since I could see clearly what I was going to pay and planned my budget accordingly. I also knew I was getting a big case...it is very big so don't think you can just tuck it away under a table or a desk. I live in a small apartment in NYC and have to remind my guests not to use it as an end table. The reason I have to give this case 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to get a 1000 watt PSU and I got one from Corsair and the cables just barely fit past the tray. Perhaps another high watt PSU would have been better but I expected this case to have space for everything and not just space for everything but a tight fit for my 1000 watt Corsair PSU..but it did fit and the cables did fit so I was not put out by this. The rest of the space is amazing. It was so nice to not have to worry about putting in a huge heatsink and fan and dual video cards. And the fans work great and are quiet.
Good case for small mobos
Pros: Looks great. Goes well with my fake tiffany style lamp (bet that is the first time that was ever said in a case review) and it is easy to work on and quiet (for my needs)
Cons: That hard drive carriage in the middle of the case is terrible so I removed it. Not the best case for systems that require large fans or have big grahics cards. More than one hard drive requires either a 5.25 adaptor or using the horrible HD carriage.
Overall Review: Over one year of use with my VIA mini ITX c7 mobo. Its quiet and it looks nice but I do not require any more fans and use the onboard graphics card. It creates mood lighting without the noise (though my girlfriend does not find it as romantic as I do). For my needs it works great (Linux/FreeBSD box with ssh and apache)
Good case for a new system
Pros: Silent, cool, well made (the foam rubber on the inside resisted my cat's use of it as a scratching post when I was building) and the back plane is great.
Cons: My 1000Wat Corsiar PSU is almost too big to get the cableing past it. More clever use of the holes could probably resolve this issue. Expensive.
Overall Review: This is a good case but only if you build a system from the ground up.
It works
Pros: The pros are that it works. All 16GB at 1066 in 64bit Ubuntu 8.10. One might be able to save money by buying each 4GB stick individually but if I wanted to save money I would not have bought 16GB of RAM.
Cons: The cost of them makes installation more stressful.
I ordered a battery, I got nothing
I ordered a replacement laptop battery and I was told it shipped on April 13th 2020 and it had a tracking number and everything. But I then got prompted to write a review and since I had nothing to review I contacted the seller and they said there had been a shipping error (but then what was shipped? How was a tracking number created?) and offered me a refund. Refunds are great but I suspect that this was an item that was never possessed and it caused me to wait instead of ordering another battery from someplace else. I have been using NewEgg since about 2003 or 2004 and this experience has made me very wary of NewEgg resellers and the methods used to vet them
