Great 8800GT
Pros: This is the quietest, coolest running and fastest out of the box 8800GT out there. This particular model has all Samsung memory chips, not Qimoda, so don't worry about this issue. The Qimoda memory model looks completely different anyway. Also, the cooler is designed in such a way that it also cools the memory chips as well as the GPU. That's why they don't have separate cooling. But if you're really concerned about this, just get little BGA heatsinks. Even though this card is already factory overclocked, it still overclocks further! I love this card.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Buy it before free shipping option disappears.
No Warranty in the US
Pros: High Clock
Cons: Went to their web site and chose United States as my region. In the warranty section it says: "Dear valued customer, the Warranty Registration is not available for your region in the moment."
Overall Review: Basically, you're getting a card that has no warranty. Scary.
Excellent memory, works as advertised.
Pros: Paired it with an 8700K and MSI Z370M Gaming Pro board. No problems setting up, runs at rated speeds. Didn't use XMP profile though, as I prefer manual settings. Haven't tried overclocking either, seems pretty fast already (and stable, which a lot of times is more important). May be try tinkering with timings later.
Cons: Price. But then all DDR4 memory is crazy expensive nowadays.
Overall Review: These are Samsung B-dies. My modules were made last month (May 2018) according to the stickers on them, fresh of the press!
Excellent
Pros: Fast, stable and cheaper than other brands for the same speed. Short heat-spreaders ensure that these modules will fit even the largest CPU coolers out there. Black PCB looks nice.
Cons: None
Great anti-virus
Pros: Plain and simple, this is the best anti-virus on the market. If you don't believe me, read reviews in numerous PC magazines. Extremely thorough, if this one doesn't catch the virus, nothing else will. What I also like about it is that if there's a new malware out, these guys are the first with a counter measure within hours if not minutes. They actually have an in-house team of hackers and virus writers that do nothing but try to come up with nasty stuff, so that it can be dealt with in the future. Very pro-active.
Cons: Can be intrusive if you choose that option. But you can switch to a lighter setting. Hard on older computers (single-core), slows everything down. The 2011 version though has a NEW search engine that is very fast and easier on the resources.
Impossible not to love!
Pros: At 1920x1200 all the newest games average at 90 FPS with everything maxed out. If I switch to DX9 FPS shoot up to 200-250! To be honest there's still not that much of a difference visually between DX11 & DX9. You really have to look extremely closely and in a fast paced game there's simply no time for that. I also could be bottle-necking the card with my ancient set up (saving up for Sandy Bridge). Card idles at 43C and hits max of 86C under full load. I have a very old case with just one 92mm exhaust fan. Intake is passive. So if you have a decent case, your temps will be much better. Card is extremely quiet, I simply don't hear it, idle or load. For me this is a dream card (replaced HD 4890).
Cons: Can't see any.
