Looks good on paper and that's about it.10/29/2013 5:03:31 PM

Pros: fast cpu, good graphics card, 32 gig of RAM

Cons: Screen looks fuzzy like there's still of film of plastic. and the fact that one can't upgrade to more current nvidia drivers. Still have to use the one's that 6 months old.

Overall Review: Hate Windows 8. have already upgraded to 8.1 and it will run fine for several days and then go into a cycle of BSODs. Get BSOD, it restarts and gets a new BSOD. finally just have to turn the whole thing off. but that doesn't help either

Runs like a charm8/14/2013 9:08:59 AM

Pros: Runs so smoothly don't even know its there. Setup was a fairly straight forward. Manual is invaluable. Been running a 6 disc RAID 10 + 1 spare for nearly a year. It is Hyper-V server running a Dev/Test network of 10 virtual Servers.

Cons: None really. Does take about 30 seconds for the raid to initalize during startup/reboot.

Overall Review: Will definitely buy again

Board great software not so3/1/2013 1:40:38 PM

Pros: A Well laid out Motherboard, plenty of connectors for whatever you want to do. A great board. Have had it since April last year and have not had a single problem. In the 10 yrs of buying Asus boards have only had 1 problem on the old P6 boards. Highly recomend this board.

Cons: fewer SATA II connectors and more SATA III with raid ability.

Overall Review: My big problem is with the included Asus software disc that is full of drivers and software to use with motherboard including the bluetooth and ASUS Suite. However, you can't install any of it on a Server OS without copying the disc to a hard drive and editing the config files. I mean Win7x64 and W2008R2 from a driver standpoint is identical and for software, it will install just fine. Just don't like having to take so much of my time when simply adding a couple of lines in the config files makes most of it work. Still can't the bluetooth drivers to install.

Really nice but could be better10/5/2012 11:02:59 AM

Pros: A breeze to install. nice and quiet

Cons: I have an H70 on an ASUS board and I was able to control fan speed and pump speed based on CPU temp. With the H100, with the fans plugged into the pump, I have no control over fan speed and the only choice I have is the 3 settings on the pump. Also the instructions were pretty vague that you needed both the fan pinout and the molex for everything to run

Pretty nice cage10/1/2012 1:54:00 PM

Pros: 5 x 3.5 in HDD in the space of 3 x 5.25" bays. Work well right out of the box.

Cons: Have to be careful when mounting this in a consumer tower case. I was aware I would have to trim the metal tabs in my HAF X case; however, couldn't get the screwless locking mechanism to work and then you have to be real careful when putting in screws as you could damage your HDDs. Needed super tiny screws to secure the cage.

Overall Review: Unlike what the pictures show, the only way to mount is with the HDD in the vertical position. Fine with me.

WoW this thing Rocks5/4/2011 8:20:10 PM

Pros: This thing really performs. 25-27C at idle using both fans in push pull.

Cons: More like 4.5 eggs. Documentation and that lack of a dedicated 1155 socket brace. The 1156 fits but is offcenter

Overall Review: With both fans it is quite big, so you have to plan in advance especially where you plug the fans in. I have a HAF X case and it took me several times to get the steps in the right order. Be careful when you lock the waterblock onto the motherboard. There is no locking so if you turn it too far you are back at square one. I'm lucky I have an ASUS board, their AI suite really made it easy to make sure the power to the pump remains at max power and the fans as well.

Good Case, a few minor bugs6/13/2008 10:45:40 AM

Pros: Extremely large internal area. Lots of Fans. Great if you going to Water Cool too. I didn't seem to have any problems with the spacers as many have had.

Cons: Way too many places to which dust gets in. Its like the whole case is this open mesh which lets in alot of dust. The P/S sucks. 1, there is no on/off switch on the P/S so you have to unplug the power cord. Sometimes the P/S doesn't give enough juice and the Mobo won't boot. even on reboots. Oh yeah the biggest plus is also a big con. This case is huge even if you take the rollers off.

Overall Review: Becareful when you buy the CPU heatsink/fan. If its too big, it may interfere with the one or two of the side fans. To the guy with the bad P/S. They are going to make you send the entire thing back. Been there done it.

It's OK11/14/2007 4:27:30 AM

Pros: Alot of features, the P35 chipset. Lots of settings tweak if you overclock.

Cons: Lack of documentation and explanation of BIOS settings.

Overall Review: 1st board was DOA, that was a shock. All in all, was not all that impressed. Seems like a nice board, but it just doesn't stand up to all the hype.
