Pros: Fits well in Define 7 Compact case, easy to build and install
Cons: Pricey, sags with very heavy cards with water locks, not pcie 4.0
Overall Review: Overall pretty good and will work perfect for most cards. I have a 3090fe in an EKWB quantum special edition block which is insanely dense and heavy. This causes the bracket to sag a bit from straight so I put a metal stand under it to help out. Most cards won't be this heavy and shouldn't be an issue. Would be nice if Fractal included some kind of optional stand for the end of the bracket for this purpose.
Pros: Good value for the price. Has excellent performance at 1080p with usually 60+ fps on most games with settings maxed. Brand new AAA titles obviously take a bit of a hit, but still smooth. The 0 rpm mode until it gets hot is excellent! Completely silent when you're not gaming. I got both free game codes with a few days of receiving the card and have them installed.
Cons: No backplate or RGB, but can't expect it at this price.
8 pin power port, like almost all other cards, is on the side so I need to have my power cable running that way messing up my super tidy wiring job.
The fans are horrifically loud when at max (like a jet), but run acceptably almost all the time. Definitely play with wattman fan curves to optimize it for your liking. Make sure to have really good fresh airflow on it.
Overall Review: Great 8GB card for the price and the free games. Make sure to pay extra for shipping as smartpost took 10 days.
Pros: Received my cd key immediately and it's valid. Used it on a fresh new install of windows on a blank hard drive. Make sure to already have the windows 10 setup on a flash drive or CD.
Microsoft seems to be getting the hang of user accounts and settings with their online account feature. Kind of neat.
Cons: Still expensive after all these years. Hope this lasts for a long time
Pros: I got this drive because I needed a cheap replacement for a laptop. Installs fine and is quick enough. Obviously not as fast as a Samsung EVO or PRO drive, but will do the trick. Anyone coming from an HDD will obviously be blown away by this anyways.
Cons: Gold color, but can't see it in a laptop!
No software provided for cloning
Pros: Looks very cool and is working well with my Ryzen 2600X and AsRock B450M Pro4 motherboard. The motherboard autodetected the ram and created an XMP profile for it to activate DDR4-3000 instead of the default 2133.
Cons: None yet
Pros: Best case I've ever worked with including pricey Silverstone and Antec cases. Very solidly built. Nice filters, grommets, and build. Included fans are very quiet and push a lot of air, but not PWM if that matters to you. The case is a bit wider than normal, but that allows for cable management in the back and tall CPU coolers which is a huge plus. Most smaller cases have much smaller dimensions which place more constraints. Sound dampening pads on both sides and top seem to be working well.
Cons: Paint on door panels chips easily! Be extra careful when removing or replacing the doors. Already got a couple small chips from 1 build.
One of the door panel thumbscrews doesn't fit into the hole very well. Seems to be an issue with the drilled hole. The door closes fine, but the screw doesn't go all the way in and is difficult to turn.
Removal of the hard drive cage needs to be through the top of the psu shroud. It's a very tight fit to get the psu shroud door off.
Pros: Solidly built, antenna is very sturdy and magnet is super strong. Downloaded the Asus PCE88 drivers prior to installation and they work fine.
Cons: Does not have a cool red heatsink like the Asus.
Overall Review: Make sure to go through the device's settings in Device Manager to optimize it for speed
Pros: Got this during a shell shocker so it was the cheapest 32gb drive available. It's already formatted so I just plugged it in and it was ready to go. Seems solidly built.
Cons: Cap may be easy to lose
Overall Review: I used this drive to create a system backup in case of a laptop drive failure. Not super fast, but seems sturdy and works fine. Great price and super fast Newegg shipping
Pros: Quiet Keystrokes (compared to my old Saitek Eclipse)
Good Wireless Range
Included Duracell batteries
Easy customization of hotkeys
Nice wrist rest material
Cons: There are no dedicated F-keys. You have to hit F-Lock to get them working. Otherwise, they operate like pre-programmed shortcuts.
The F-Keys are different than the regular keys. They are short and made of a different material which takes a bit of time to get used to.
Not lighted (would make price higher)
No indicator lights (caps lock, num lock) This would be helpful and I'd gladly give up battery life for this feature.
Not a really tiny receiver, but that's ok.
Overall Review: Low-profile keys are nice, if you're into that kind of thing. Not exactly like laptop keys, not like standard keys. Somewhere halfway.
The keys are also curved a little bit (like a wave) on the keyboard. Not a huge deal
Pros: These speakers are perfect for personal music listening and movie watching. Sound is crisp with sharp treble and bass that is not overpowering. The bass is obviously going to match the bass of a separate woofer, but they BassXPorts work quite well for personal listening. The aux in and headphone connections are welcome additions. Perfect for dorms.
Cons: Will not fill up a decent-sized room with great sound. The tone knob sounds terrible if moved far from the middle. I currently have it at the 1 o'clock position which personally sounds good.
Overall Review: A tick expensive at 50 bucks, but seem to be very good quality. They are quite heavy and the finish on them is great. Dust collects on them, but not too much of a big deal. Great for dorms or desks with little space.
Pros: Very quick drive. Upgraded my hp 8510w from a 160gb seagate drive. Doesn't heat up much and no vibrations. Great upgrade!
Cons: Near constant soft clicking sound. Doesn't bother me, but people who work in complete silence might be bothered.
Overall Review: Seagate Disk Wizard worked wonders! Cloned my old full 160gb drive to the new drive in under 75 minutes. Good stuff.
Pros: I returned my dead version 2.0 and got a new version 2.2 after the RMA process. Thermaltake has completely changed the psu by making the rails much stronger, especially a new 23A on a 12V rail.
Cons: Old versions are terrible. New version is untested, but seems a bit stronger. The 5V and 3.3V rails on the new 2.2 are much weaker than the 2.0 version.
Overall Review: It's still in the box because of my new OCZ GameXStream, but I will test it out soon.
Pros: This psu may flaunt its high specs, but it's the worst psu I've ever had. It has great cables...and that's about it.
Cons: It is under-powered, loud, and very cruddy quality. Mine died in the 10th month. My replacement died after 5 months. I'm returning it again and buying myself a different company's psu.
When it starts making noise when the computer isn't on, it's time to pull the plug.
ThermalTake RMA process is a joke. Took me 3 weeks to get a replacement psu.
My rig: AMD 3500+, 6800gt, 2x raptor, 2gb ram.
Overall Review: Newegg rocks as always and has great selection and shipping. I'm getting my new psu from them.
Pros: BF2 Load times are amazing and really helps with any program.
Cons: 2-3-2-5 @ 2.6V is totally off. My A8N Sli Deluxe won't boot at those settings. I have to back it off to 2.5-3-3-5 to even get it to run. I'm probably sticking to Corsair next time.
Overall Review: Since many other people had great success with these sticks, I'm guessing it's a 50-50 chance to get good sticks. If you're lucky, get them. If not, then don't.
