Pros: GTX 1080 for $420
Cons: When I purchased the card the picture that was displayed was that of a GTX 1080 with a three fan cooler and a base clock speed of 1710MHz and boost speed of 1850MHz, now what I received is a product with two fans and a base clock of 1620MHz base and 1759MHz boost. And now the product picture has been changed for the two fan configuration. Very disappointed.
Pros: The biggest reason I bought this was the audio which by far exceeds the audio from any other phone I have come across.
The large screen.
Cons: Snapdragon 800
Lack of expandable storage
Overall Review: The biggest problem with this phone is that it gets unbelievably HOT! I played Injustice and within 20 minutes the temperature on the phone reached 46 degrees C which is approximately 120 degrees F. Not only do these temperatures zap the battery life it also eventually ruins the other components within the phone thereby severely impacting the reliability of the phone.
Pros: Cut to accurately fit the Axon Pro and Axon phones.
Cons: Definitely not bubble free and not scratch resistant either. Used the micro fiber cloth on the screen protector after attaching it to the phone and I could see minor scratches on the film. At this rate it would have been better had I left the film that came with the phone.
Overall Review: There are definitely better options for cheaper. Found better prices on the site named after Greek warrior women of myth.
Pros: The price. I paid $53 for two of these. The capacity. 128GB is a good size, especially when considering the price of $26.50.
Cons: The first drive was not recognized in a USB 3.0 slot but it was recognized in a 2.0 slot. The data on the drive also corrupted and it was no longer able to copy from the drive. Also the speeds are way below the advertised speeds. I was getting 37MB read and 34MB write for the second drive that was actually recognized in the USB 3.0 slot. The speed should have been at least 3 times what I benchmarked.
Overall Review: I have other PNY drives that I benchmarked at the rated speeds. For the price I am not terribly upset because the capacity is still good but the speeds are terrible.
Pros: SSD, faster than HDD
Max Sequential Read Up to 550MB/s
Max Sequential Write Up to 515MB/s
4KB Random Write Up to 90,000 IOPS
Seek Time 0.1 ms
Cons: SSD speeds far from advertised
Max Sequential Read 201.64MB/s
Max Sequential Write 64.36MB/s
4KB Random Write 15,762 IOPS
Seek Time .25 ms
Overall Review: I used AS SSD Benchmark 1.53784.37609 for my current values.
As you can see the advertised speeds were far from accurate.
The seq. read is less than half the rated speed.
The seq. write speed is eight times less than what it is rated.
The 4KB write IOPS is six times less than its rating.
The seek time is 2.5 times slower than it is rated to be.
I was excited about this product initially especially since it was one of the highest reviewed SSDs. Since then I have been left deflated. Should have gone with OCZ
Crosshair V Formula
Windows 7 64 Ultimate
OCZ ZX 1000W
G.Skill Ripjaws 12800 16GB RAM
Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 120GB firmware 332
Pros: Brilliant colors, 1080p, no dead pixels, enormous screen, decent features, customized settings, fantastic price at $259
Cons: packaging came a bit disheveled but Newegg isn't at fault--that is a typical UPS issue, have not tried using the integrated speakers and don't plan on it
Overall Review: Upgraded from a Dell 20" and am very happy that I did.
Pros: expandable memory, AAA rechargeables batteries as opposed to lithium ion battery, (i use 15 min energizer batteries and charger so batteries charge completely in 15 mins). Compact, light, protective plastic case, decent equalizer, crisp sound that does not reach i*** levels that can blow out your eardrum.
Cons: No bookmarking, limited playlist option, no gapless playback, Sorting via song or artist not very intuitive (should be separated into letters of the alphabet). Decent but not good battery life. The good thing is all of these issues are software related and can be theoretically corrected w/ firmware upgrades.
Overall Review: Overall a very good player, especially for the price. Feature wise, my favorite player is the Rio Karma--very intuitive and feature rich. The biggest pluses for this player is the expandable memory feature and the fact that it uses AAA batteries.
