Stress Level 6
Pros: Small, compact, perfect for traveling Will play Blu-Ray discs with some work on your part
Cons: Don't bother with the included software CD, it will lead to hours of frustration for you. That software is just a tease because you need to buy the latest version to play BluRay discs. Old tried and true, VLC will not play BluRay discs says, "This Blu-Ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding and your system does not have it". I tried that, I tried PowerDVD9 that I had lying around. 9 actually told me that my video driver was not compatible. Really on a laptop that is only 2 years old? Hmm. Went looking for alternative software and found DVDFab Player 5, it's freemium but it does want we need it plays BluRay discs. This is not an endorsement or do I work for DVDFab, it's just a piece of software that seems to work.
Overall Review: I disagree with those who are complaining about the cable length. This is the average length for a portable player. My portable Samsung DVD player has the same length of cable. Besides how far do you really need it if you're sitting within arm's reach of the laptop? Unless you absolutely need to don't pay for playing software, look around for free BUT be careful in what you install.
Okay but some caveats
Pros: Keeps phone stable Holds phone and Garmin GPS tight Hold a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a 2400 series Garmin
Cons: Difficult to remove if changing cars (I drive a different car every day) The support bracket at the bottom causes to hold your device tilted away from you (tried removing but can't unless I break it) Supporting bracket cannot be removed (gives the impression that if you squeeze the sides it could pop out - NOT) The arms that go on the vent blades don't fold out of the way, if you want to store it. You have to remove them completely The arms could become lost or dropped into the vent if not careful.
Overall Review: I would prefer something a bit more compact and easier to remove. It does the job its designed for but could do with some design improvements
Add speed to your PC
Pros: The install was fairly easy. Used migration software. The SSD was definitely faster than the 1TB spinning drive. Boot time was seconds.
Cons: DOES NOT COME WITH A TRANSFER CABLE. Used a recently salvaged SATA/USB interface.
Overall Review: I would suggest that a cable be added to the product or at least advise a customer that it will be needed. Other than this obvious con, it was a good purchase for the price (got 2).
Start and Stop As You Please
Pros: Long, flat tangle-less design
Cons: none as of yet
Overall Review: Packaging: Black glossy box with clear easy to see through panel. WYSIWG. Audio cable: Was immediately impressed to the length and the quality. It works as designed. Used on auxiliary cable that don't have any controls. All were able to start and stop with just a press of the button. Did not test the microphone as it was not purchased for that. The cable is not a complete flat design, more of a slight oval flat cable, still a tangle free design. Recommendation: Great cable for anyone who needs stop/start control. 5 Stars.
Pros: Fits 24" tires, easy to install, easy to move around, great value for the money
Cons: Have to keep getting off to adjust to taste. Because its supported in the back you would find getting on and off a difficult without a stool
Overall Review: Hesitated to buy in the past because ALL other sites said would only fit 26" tires and higher. I am short and use 24" and it fit fine. No adjustments to bike or trainer needed. The resistance wheel meets the tire when dialed all the way up. You need a front wheel block, I made my own from a few pieces of wood, liquid nails, screws and foam to prevent slipping (cheaper than those sold in stores/online)
Watch out for fake keywords
Manual states, "Plug the cable into the AV port on the front cam, the power will be connected. The red wire is to connect the reverse light in order to activate the LED lights on the rear camera while in reverse gear." I connected the AV cable of the rear camera to the port and received no picture from rear camera. Also, If I need to connect the red wire to the reverse light then it is NOT a rear cam it is a BACKUP cam. It is advertised as a REAR DASH CAM not a backup camera. Falsely advertised.
Received PC with a KB and mouse. The KB had a broken key (the division sign). Unfortunately the seller did not have individual keys to send replacement. But they will replace the whole KB BUT I had to pay to ship it back to them. Kind of a bummer having to pay return shipping on a KB with a broken key that wasn't broken by me. For good customer relations they should have offered to send a label to ship the KB back for the exchange. So my $50 PC now cost me $65. I know not a lot but it is the principal. If I was the seller I would have offered to pay the shipping back to me or at least half of it. Why stick the customer with the shipping costs? Just my two cents. Other than that they were quick to respond to my KB problem.
