Pros: Everything so far has been a pro for this card. I upgraded to this card from a Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury X, that was still good for gaming; however I could never max out my games because I needed at least 5 GB of VRAM to do it. I had my sights set on this card ever since I had heard about it from the YouTube tech community.
It was easy to install and ran perfect right out of the box. The fans are not loud at all even on load (at least in my system.) I'm getting a lot more FPS than I did with my old card; however, it still works. The RGB is cool. The temperature stays around the 60's while gaming. The 8 GB of VRAM is more than enough for any gamer, at least right now. It works for me and I hope it works for anybody else who buys it.
Cons: None, so far.
Overall Review: Again, this is an awesome card and I would recommend it for anybody. However, there are other nice cards out there and it's your decision to make which one to buy. Although, before buying any AMD card I would wait a few months before buying so that they can iron out the bugs in the Radeon software and drivers. Buy with confidence.
Pros: Same as before
Cons: Same as before, I've not found any.
Overall Review: This card is still going strong. I don't mind the fan noise when it goes to full power, I hardly notice it when I'm playing because I have good gaming headphones that block it out. There have been no adverse effects with drivers or anything in that realm, which is pretty amazing from other reviews I've read in the past. I still love the quality rendering in the games I play, even old DOS games look awesome at the hq rendering settings in DosBox. AMD Radeon outdid themselves with this card. It's still going and shows no signs of stopping. I still recommend this card to gaming enthusiasts.
Cons: Same as before, I've found none.
Overall Review: I promised an update after I had owned this monitor for over a year. It is still going strong, and shows no signs of dying. This is a great monitor for the gaming enthusiast. There have been several that were showcased at CES 2017 that are far superior, though. However, don't pass this one by just because it is a previous generation gaming monitor. It makes all of the games I play run smoothly without noticeable lag. Doom on Ultra settings looks awesome. Anyway, this is a great gaming monitor and don't be afraid to purchase it. You won't be sorry. I got a good one the first time.
Pros: • Does what its function implies.
• Dual-Link DVI.
• Low affordable price
• Sturdy and flexible construction
Cons: Haven't experienced a con yet.
Overall Review: I purchased this cable to use with the Dell 17" Monitor, which was given to me by a friend, and it works very well. The image that this cable outputs is crisp and clear and high quality, for a DVI-D connection. I'm planning on upgrading to a 27" 144Hz gaming monitor when I am able to purchase it.
I recommend this cable for any monitor that supports Dual-Link DVI-D connections. For this low a price, it's a no-brainer. Buy with confidence.
Pros: • Sturdy
• Provides adequate power support.
• Low affordable price.
Cons: I haven't seen or experienced any cons yet.
Overall Review: I purchased this cord to power an old Dell 17" Monitor that was given to me by a friend. This cord powers it adequately and is still powering it. It's a no-brainer for this price. I recommend this product to anyone, if you need to power a monitor that requires a 3 conductor power cord. I don't know how it would do with a high wattage power supply.
•High storage capacity.
Overall Review: If you have Windows 7 through 10, you need to use the partition tool within Seagate Disk Wizard (download from the site.) Set up as a GTB or something of that nature (it'll say what to do.) It's a simple setup process.
I installed this drive a week ago and it's still going strong, and will probably last for a while longer. It is true that Seagate drives are budget drives, but (as I've said in my other post) I have never had a problem with any of these drives, except for one of the 500GB upgrade kits I bought at WAL-MART; otherwise, I've never had any problems with Seagate hard drives. I recommend this brand if you get a hard drive.
Just remember that if you do get a bad one, it doesn't mean that all of them are junk.
Pros: •1080p on anything is a pro.
•Carl Zeiss optics (hopefully I spelled that fight)
•USB 3.0 compatible
Cons: •It's not free
Overall Review: I hooked this camera up after I received it. It works very well, to say the least. Really, I haven't even used this camera yet. I just set it up. I saw the quality of the picture when I was setting it up, though; and it looks great.
Logitech has made some of the best Web cams out there. I recommend Logitech products.
After I test the camera, I'll update this post. So far, it's awesome.
Pros: Master/Slave configuration. This is a nice feature, because you can turn off certain devices when you turn the main devices off (e.g. Computer/Monitor).
An easy to read LCD display. This feature is a good one because you can see how much you are pulling on your load and see how many times your battery was activated by power outages, brown outs, etc.
A mute function. For those who don't want to hear the beeps.
Plenty of outlets. 10 outlets will provide you with more than enough protection for all of your devices.
Quiet. Even when it goes through the self-test this UPS is quiet. You do get the audible buzz when the battery kicks in, but that is to be expected. The fan is quiet, also (at least on the one that I received). I guess that APC fixed the fan issue that other consumers have had, because mine does not have that problem.
I have not had any problems with this unit yet, but I will update this review if I do have any issues. As it stands right now, this UPS is awesome.
Overall Review: I'd recommend this product to my friends and family. This is a reliable product and I have not had any problems within the first day. It's still running great, but I will update this review if any issues occur. APC makes some great products. I recommend this product to anyone. Don't think about it, go and buy it. You won't be disappointed.
Pros: Plenty of room for cooling. This case has the room and the ability to incorporate a water cooling solution for your CPU. There's also plenty of case fans to keep your system cool.
Style. I just love the look of this case. It's stylish, it's sleek, and it looks great anywhere. It also has a window so you can show off your awesome build.
Ease of installation. Drive bays have a clip-in style installation which makes it very easy to insert your optical and other drives. The hard drive slots have a easy install tray that pulls out so you can secure the HDD without having to dart around cables to insert the mounting screws.
Card cooler mount. This case also has a mount for coolers for graphics cards like the AMD Radeon R9 Fury X. I only discovered this recently while I was thinking about getting that card. I discovered it down in the bottom of the case. It's very cool.
Cons: I haven't found any.
Overall Review: Thermaltake products are a standard for me when it comes to cases and power supplies. I know that they won't break on me in a few weeks. They are great quality products. I recommend any Thermaltake product. Go get it. You'll love it.
Pros: Features. So many features that will enhance your entire computing experience.
Over clocking features. A must for any gamer who wants to get the most out of his/her gaming experience.
UEFI BIOS. I love the design and functionality of the BIOS. When I first entered the BIOS, it wasn't like any other BIOS that I had ever seen before. It wasn't a generic looking one, it actually looks cool. A black and red theme for the Republic of Gamers. Awesome.
HD Audio. I have had Realtek on-board sound before, but this is a lot better than the old AC '97 standard that Realtek put on earlier motherboards.
USB 3.0. A heck of a lot faster than USB 2.0.
Gigabit LAN. The fastest on-board LAN made by Intel.
Keybot. I haven't used this feature yet, but this is a plus for gamers. Although, if you have a gaming keyboard you really don't need this feature. It's nice to have, though.
ASUS quality. I have used ASUS motherboards in the past and I will continue, because they make good quality motherboards and other good products. I haven't had a ASUS motherboard burn yet.
Cons: None really except the placement of the SATA ports. They can be hard to get to if you don't plug the cables in before you install a video card that stretches the width of the motherboard.
Overall Review: ASUS makes great products, in my opinion, and I recommend these products.
Pros: Lots of wattage. 1,200 watts is a good number for a gaming computer.
Style. This power supply looks cool and with its modular design it will look and fit great in any case.
Plenty of power connectors. There's no shortage of SATA and molex connectors.
Thermaltake. Great quality products.
Quiet. You can hardly hear the fan while it is running.
Overall Review: Thermaltake has always been my staying point when it comes to cases and power supplies. I know that they won't die on me for a long time. I recommend this and any other Thermaltake product, because they have great quality products. Go ahead, buy it. You won't be sorry.
Pros: Water cooling. This will help keep a CPU cooler at higher loads than a fan.
Easy to install. It was a snap to install.
Overall Review: I recommend this product, especially if you have a Thermaltake full tower case like the Chaser A71 or one like it. I love the design and the concept of water cooling systems. I just think their cool. I recommend any Thermaltake product.
Pros: 16 GB. I got this so I would have more than enough RAM to game with, until the games get larger and require more RAM.
Kingston. I used Kingston memory in my other builds and I have yet to RMA any stick of Kingston RAM or had one fail. It's good quality memory for a pretty reasonable price. I wouldn't discount other memory companies for quality, though. I've just stuck with what I know works.
Awesome heat sink design. I love the design. It just looks like it will pwn.
Overall Review: I recommend any Kingston memory. As I said before, Kingston makes great quality memory. Go ahead and buy it. You will not be disappointed.
3.7 Ghz to 4.2 Ghz
Overall Review: I haven't been able to fully test this product yet, but for what I have used it for it is really fast. When I get some games I'll see what this thing really can do. I'm an AMD guy, but I also like Intel processors. I just prefer AMD products. This CPU is a huge upgrade from my older one. Can't wait to see what this baby can really do. I recommend this product.
Pros: A Seagate drive. I've used Seagate drives for every system that I've ever built and I have yet to have one crash on me, except for one of the upgrade kits that are available at WAL-MART. The main drive is still going.
1 TB. I will most likely add another one of these drives or a higher capacity drive from Seagate. For now it has all the space I need for downloading data.
Cons: It's not really a con for me, but the drive arrived sealed and when I opened it there was no Seagate Wizard program disc. The reason why this doesn't affect me is because I can download the program from their website. That was all.
Overall Review: The drive has worked great for the first day and is still going. As I said, I would not buy any other than Seagate because I know their drives are of great quality. I recommend any Seagate drive. Also, just because someone may get a bad one doesn't mean that they are all bad drives.
Pros: Very responsive keys. Very smooth to type on.
Green back lighting. It matches my color scheme.
Quiet keys. It sounds just like typing on a regular keyboard.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I haven't had the chance to use all of the features yet, but this is just an awesome keyboard. I'm planning on pairing this product with the Razer Taipan Black model, so my Dad can also use it. I recommend this product.
Pros: It works. It worked when I fired it up. It accesses discs very fast, so no long initialization time.
It is really quiet. I don't understand why people complain about the noise, unless they just received one from a bad batch.
It has what I need.
Blu-ray is awesome.
Cons: None so far. I hope it stays that way.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product to my friends and family, who are needing or wanting a Blu-ray Writer and player.
Pros: It has exactly what one would need, and it works exactly as advertised.
Overall Review: This thing works great.
Pros: Has everything you need and more.
Cons: None that I can see.
Overall Review: I wanted to get as complete a set as I could for a reasonable price. I found that it had everything I would need for a PC technician and more. I'm not a technician but I plan to be someday. I purchased this tool set to build my new computer, and it has every tool I could ever ask for. I love it.
