Pretty Spendy For Earbuds :)

Creative EP-480 3.5mm stereo miniplug Connector Earbud Black Earphones
Creative EP-480 3.5mm stereo miniplug Connector Earbud Black Earphones

Pros: they are small :)

Cons: at almost 100k price, kinda think newegg fat fingered the price entry

Great Rack Cabinet 32u 39in depth

Sysracks 32U Floor Standing Server Rack Cabinet, 39-Inch Deep, for 19-Inch EIA-310 Equipment, Glass Door, Fans and PDU
Sysracks 32U Floor Standing Server Rack Cabinet, 39-Inch Deep, for 19-Inch EIA-310 Equipment, Glass Door, Fans and PDU

Pros: 1. easy shipping, comes in 5 flat packs 2. easy to assemble (if you have any mechanical ability) instructions not that clear in 1 or 2 spots, but once you figure it out, the rest of the assemble is pretty straight forward 3. customer service was great for after the sale 4. comes with a temp control panel to control 4 fans 5. comes with 1 full length shelf (i went and bought 2 adjustable shelfs for the configuration i wanted) 6. glass door is nice, arrived triple packed to ensure the glass didnt get broken during shipping 7. sysracks went over board on packing all components, most were double boxed

Cons: 1. glass door label is only made for 1 orientation (opens left to right), i have mine setup for right to left so the label is upside down 2. fan replacement not ideal. 4 fans that come with the temp control panel are soldered together, not easy for a single fan replacement 3. wish it had more rubber stops for the side doors 4. cabinet was missing 2 lock bolt on shipping (see picture 1) 5. 1 door latch was missing (picture 2) 6. 1 fan failed a few days after setup 7. minor nitpick, took 3 trash pickups to get rid of all the cardboard used to ship the cabinet 8. minor nitpick, wish the rear door was a double door instead of full width single door style, you have to leave quite a bit of space to swing the door fully open

Overall Review: 1. sysracks sent replacements for the 2 lock bolts missing and arrived delivered in 2 days 2. door latch was sent by usps and arrived within 4 days 3. replacement fan was sent by usps and arrived in 5 days i was really happy with the service and the build quality of the components. all parts are solid heavy metal, no plastics except the temp/fan control panel. i had a navepoint 22u 24in depth rack before this, but i would say this was was a better overall rack cabinet.

Decent Upgrade but a bit pricey

Synology 2U 8-Bay NAS RackStation (Diskless) (RS1219+)
Synology 2U 8-Bay NAS RackStation (Diskless) (RS1219+)

Pros: rack version of the 18xx+ series

Cons: price compare to 18xx+ series

Overall Review: overall decent upgrade from my old 1815+ after moving to a 22u rack. over priced compared to better 1819+ ds series but if you want a rack version the cheapest you can find in 8 bay RS series. bought the crucial kit 2x4gb (CT2KIT51264BF160B) for memory instead of the synology branded one. they also have a 2x8gb kit that works also to max out the ram. went with a synology RJ45 10gb nic add in card, as i couldnt find a suitable lower cost one that was tested to fit. 2u design so doesnt work very well with the dev/mount rack post/nut setup. see my navepoint 22u review. minor point was the initial setup you must use the onboard network port to setup as the drivers are not loaded for the synology 10gb nic until you load DSM. overall good purchase, not great compare to my 1815+ or features/new components of the 1819+ compared to the 1219+. as others may have commented, it seems the 1219+ is just a new revision on the old 1213+. and this series is not affected by the atom 2538 cpu failure as that mostly affected cpu's in systems prior to 2017 models.

Navepoint 22u cabinet

Navepoint 22U Networking Cabinet 600mm Depth with Casters, Shelves, Fans
Navepoint 22U Networking Cabinet 600mm Depth with Casters, Shelves, Fans

Pros: Cheap in price, good quality, good instructions

Cons: Sections bent, door hinges welded, fans loud

Overall Review: Overall a good cabinet for the price. Fans are loud but typical of this brand. Sections were mildly bent but typical from other smaller cabinet reviews of this brand. Door hinge pins are welded to door frame so the logo is only upright if installed opening right, same issue other reviews of the smaller cabinets of this brand also. 22u size was way over kill but the space makes for expandability down the road a moot point. Sits 43in tall without the casters, 46in with. Casters were easy to install and roll easily. Door does not sit flush with the frame but have not re-adjusted the frame to compensate for this. Door installed on right opening was off by 1/2 inch but maybe 1/16 inch on left opening. I suggest installing the door before you tighten down the frame to maybe fix this issue since the instructions have you install and tighten the frame before you even think about installing the door. Took about 2-3 hours taking my sweet time setting it up. Rack nuts/bolts strip easily if over torqued, don't use the plastic washers. Ordered a box of patchbox dev\mounts instead to replace the rack nut/bolts. Front door and side panels lock which is great but front door has no handle cutout to open it. Came with 3 shelves but man they fit super tight between the posts. If you get a PDU, make sure it's longer than 6ft if your outlet is any distance from the cabinet location, luckily mine is right behind the cabinet of where I am putting it. Navepoint has some good horizontal cable management attachments but no vertical ones. Can't even find any third party ones that even look like they fit. Cable openings in top/bottom are not rounded so find a solution to minimize cable fray/cutting. Very solid construction, I would buy again but since I over bought on rack slots this will last forever. Will be running the following : ubiquiti dream machine pro, ubiquiti 16x10gb managed switch, ubiquiti flex-hd, synology 1815+, and various ubiquiti ap's, tripp lite pass thru cat 6a RJ-45 patch panel. Has wall mount option but being so tall I wouldn't recommend it. Also comes with 1 set of slide rails in case you want to slide in a heavy 4-6u server but prob won't fit being as this is only about 17in from front to rear posts using the tray and less if using the slide rails. How this helps anyone looking at this brand. I am overall very satisfied for the cost compared to sysracks 22u or 18u cabinets for about 1/2 the cost and they shipped fast after ordering thru Newegg. Took 2 days to ship via FedEx two boxes, 20lbs for the trays and 100lbs for the main unit. edit : Just wanted to add, removed the fans that came with the cabinet as they are way to loud. ordered some 33 dba fans cooltron 120mm x 38mm, they are sold under ac infinity under newegg sellers. also beware trying to remove the screws from the fan housing, they strip somewhat easy if too much torque is applied. 7 of the 8 screws came out very easy, last one the head stripped cause i think it was cross threaded when installed. was able to vise grip the threads and rotate the fan housing to loosen the screw and then use pliers to grab the head to unscrew. needless to say that screw is toast.

Good Mousepad

Razer Firefly - Chroma Custom Lighting Hard Gaming Mouse Mat - RZ02-01350100-R3U1
Razer Firefly - Chroma Custom Lighting Hard Gaming Mouse Mat - RZ02-01350100-R3U1

Pros: great surface compared to my old pad. had to dial down the sensitivity compared since this new pad has an order of magnitude slicker surface.

Cons: footprint is huge compared to my old pad. it took up so much space that I had to use it in portrait mode instead of landscape mode.

Overall Review: good pad, but overkill if you not using the razer chroma mouse and keyboard. waiting for those to arrive late this week. cant decide on the deathstalker chroma or for the new corsair strafe with brand new cherry mx silent keys. suppose to be quieter than the cherry mx brown.
