Easy Setup and Stable Performance so far
Overall Review: This was my first venture into a custom built pc and after weeks of going back and forth, I ultimately decided to go with MSI. I didn't initially want to go for a DDR5 board but the Unify-X had more features than the Tomahawk I had also been eyeing. Aesthetically the sleek, black design is nice and the practicality of the 2 dimm vs the other 4 dimm Unify option made it an easy choice. It is pretty heavy though, a literal weight in your hands. The motherboard setup was probably the easiest part of the entire build. The bios was easy enough to navigate and update and there were no hiccups with setting up xmp or manually setting values. DDR5 has been stable and I have yet to come across issues that weren't easily fixed. Overall I don't regret the purchase at all and I'm really looking forward to seeing what all I can do with this board.
Loving it!
Pros: Quiet Temps are great
Cons: Slightly heavy
Overall Review: I was debating between this model and the 10GB version but I'm glad I went this route anyway. The installation went by pretty fast once I got over my fear of dropping it and there's been no issues since. Hoping I didn't just jinx myself there. Performance wise, I don't really notice a sound beyond the tempered glass and my temps in game stay between the 40s-60s. Settings are capped at the highest without any performance drop so I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.
