Goodbye 32Bit
Pros: 64 Bit is the future. It is extremely stable, extremely fast, and extremely beautiful. I have not experienced one single problem. All my programs work, all my drivers work, but best of all. Crysis runs full gfx in DX10 wonderfully.
Cons: $139.99... I bought is for almost 100 dollars more back in August '07.
Overall Review: Love it Love it Love it.
Great Board
Pros: Everything about it when it is working.
Cons: I have the board and it was great until one of my RAM channels broke. Like many other reviewers I thought this was a myth but it is true. I can't use one of my sticks now and it is annoying. Also the onboard sound broke as well as the ethernet on the board. Was going to send it back but I' am getting the cheap upgrade to the 780i. In the mean time I bought a nice P35 motherboard to replace it.
Overall Review: After 1 month the troubles started kicking in.
XFX
Pros: What can you expect from XfX? Nothing great...
Cons: I bought the card and just like my XfX 8800Ultra it came badly packaged and cracked. I didn't even bother trying to install the card... I send it back and bought an eVGA one. Second time now XfX I had to go to eVGA. I don't know why I gave you guys second chance but you failed. Lost my business.
Overall Review: eVGA ROCKS!!!
eVGA
Pros: Flat out the best company and the best motherboard I have ever used. It is simply amazing. It looks great. It's overclocking capabilities are superior to any other motherboard I have used and it has 3x2.0 Slots. Simply a work of art. Not to mention 45nm CPU compatibility.
Cons: Ugh as usual it isn't free. But the price ain't that bad at all.
Overall Review: eVGA 780i A1 Motherboard Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 @ 4.0Ghz 4x1GB 1200Mhz DDR2 RAM 2x1 eVGA 9800GX2 1GB 512bit 2000 Watt Thermaltake Toughpower
WOW!
Pros: This card is blazing. It is the best deal on the market as of right now. It out performs the 8800GT price/performance ratio wise but no just performance wise. I would recommend this over an 8800GT any day.
Cons: Wish it was a little faster but it's nothing that overclocking can't fix.
Overall Review: SLi?!?!
Had These for 2 Years
Pros: Everything about them is amazing. When I first hooked them up I was blown away.
Cons: None
Overall Review: The little green power light died yesterday but it held out for over 2 years!
