Nice mobo for the money.
Pros: Excellent stability, works well with Linux.
Cons: IDE connector is in a bad place.
Overall Review: Asus is a great mobo. I would have placed the IDE connector in a better spot. I use all SATA drives so it is a non factor but if you have any IDE devices you will need a long cable. I run Linux so it has to work and all the hardware is recognized using Ubuntu.
Appears to be good for Samsung Phones.
Pros: Apparently the Galaxy Series of phones has issues with any non-Samsung micro-SD card. My Galaxy Note 3 pretty much ruined my SanDisk Ultra 32GB card. After a LOT of reading on many phone forums it was the consensus that Samsung phones work best with Samsung SD cards. I went ahead and bought a Samsung SD card and so far so good.
Cons: None that I can find.
Excellent cooler, excellent price.
Pros: Cool, quiet, approximately same weight as stock cooler. Ease of install or as easily as an LGA775 can be. Pre-applied AC MX-1 paste so nothing else needed. Looks really cool when mounted. I had no clearance issues with my Asus P5K mobo. Wires for cooler are loomed in black mesh which matches my PS looms.
Cons: Mounting system can be PITA, but that is the work of LGA775 creators, not Arctic Cooling.
Overall Review: I have a Q6600 Core 2 Quad stock 2.4GHz OCd to 3.0GHz and BIOS reports CPU temp to be about 93F after a couple of hours of use. I tried OCing the proc with the stock cooler and temps went up to over 110F very quickly. For the somewhat avid overclocker the cooler is an excellent buy. I leave fan at full speed (~2500 rpm) and it is very quiet.
Great supply for the money
Pros: Excellent supply with lots connections. Cables were definitely long enough to reach all the components. Runs my Asus P5K, Core 2 Quad, 8800GT OC, SATA 320G hdd, 2 SATA DVD R drives, no problem. I have a Thermaltake PS in my other system as well.
Cons: None
Overall Review: The looms that the wires are bond in make for not easy bending. Newegg got me the supply in 1.5 days with free shipping. Newegg rocks!!! For $60 and Thermaltake's reputation in power supply building hard to go wrong.
FAST, FAST, FAST
Pros: FAST, cool, nice quiet heatsink and fan combo. Can OC to 3GHZ very easily but I would recommend a better heatsink.
Cons: None
Overall Review: This is one fast processor. First Intel I have had in a long time and it does not disappoint. I can run numerous application in Ubuntu with no sign of slowdown. I recoded a video file to mpeg2, burned a DVD, surfed the internet, chatted with friends on IM, had email client up and the processor gobbled up the tasks with no problem. For the price cannot be beat. I OC'd the proc to 3GHZ and it ran fine. I plan on getting a better heatsink/fan since the stock one is only rated for the stock 2.GHZ speed.
Great videocard
Pros: Fast, very quiet, Nvidia technology, MSI quality. Games run smooth as silk. I can run FEAR with everything maxed.
Cons: This sucker is big, long and heavy. Make sure you have a big case and at least a 500W power supply.
Overall Review: This is a nice videocard. It is a 2 slot cooler so you will not be able to put anything below it. Since the cooler is so large it runs cool and the fan is really quiet.
