Pros: I am not going to say its the best card out there since I haven't benched it against all of the other 8800 Ultras on the market, but it is woth the $## or so more over the 8800GTX.
Cons: The card is among the largest on the market, so be sure that you have a wide enough case to hold it. It also requires 2 6-pin molex connectors, so be sure that your power suplly has at least 1 6-pin (the card comes with an adapter for the second if you dont have 2)
Overall Review: Many of the reviews referenced artifacts appearing at stock speeds, however that is because those cards are defective, it isnt standard, and you shouldnt have to underclock it (If you do, contact either newegg or MSI and they will take care of it). It also runs hot, but what do you expect?
Good price but bad pci slot placement and bogus manual
Pros: 1) Its a great value for the money. 2) Not bad onboard audio.
Cons: 1) Ok, heres the major problem. If you put an X1k series PCI-E card into your comp, you can forget about using EITHER of your PCI slots. One is completely covered the the other is half overed by my GPU fan (I have an X1800 XT) 2) Another HUGE drawback is that the manual FAILS TO LABEL 2 MAJOR POWER CONNECTORS!! It mentions nothing about the 12v that powers the PCI-E Slots OR the 8 pin power connector that goes to the CPU... That is unacceptable. I had to go to the Sapphire forums to figure out why nothing was happening when I turned on my rig. 3) For some stupid reason, sapphire randomly decided to throw 2 ethernet adapters onto this mobo (?????) 4) I cannot find drivers for the USB controller either. 5) I also have an "Unknown Device" in my device manager that I just can't figure out. Tried installing all the drivers on the Sapphire website for the mobo, but nothing worked.
Overall Review: It works well, and if you really dont care about the cons I listed, like I said, its a good value. Just dont try to build a high end rig with it.
Astronomical performance
Pros: - 12GB RAM! - Excellent single-GPU solution for 4k gaming - SIGNIFICANT increase in SLI is Fantastic (In 3DMark 11 my rig scored 6863 with 2x GTX 680 4GB, an 8238 with one GTX Titan X, and a 13463 with 2x GTX Titan X's) - Only 250W power draw. - DX12 support
Cons: -Price is obviously #1 downside HOWEVER, compared to the cost of previous Titan cards, it is very reasonable. Especially considering what you get. -I cannot think of any other downsides to this monster
Overall Review: With this card it all centers around cost, but if you have it you can't get a better card.
Pros: I have this ram in my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L and it overclocks like a champ I have mine overclocked to 1200 5-5-5-13 it ran memtest for 12 straight hours with no errors. The lights make it look like I have 2 christmas trees in my ram slots, it certainly makes my case stand out from the rest.
Cons: I honestly cant think of any. This ram is amazing, just be sure to have good cooling if you want to clock it up to 1200 like I have.
Overall Review: I noticed it also has uv lights around the base so it makes your ram slots glow if they are uv reactive.
Great for amateur overclockers
Pros: The bios are easily navigable making overclocking a breeze. I own an E6750 Core 2 Duo overclocked to 3.4 and some DDR2 1066 Crucial Ballistix overclocked to 1200. Plenty of sata, and the PCI-E x16 is far enough away from the PCI slots that even the biggest cards leave your PCI slots accesible.
Cons: As stated in most of the other reviews, the board's single IDE port is place awkwardly, but its nothing a long IDE cable cant fix.
Overall Review: Love the board, the ram slots seem to be UV reactive, so my ram (which emits UV light around its base) has a cool aura around it...very cool.
Fits even an 8800 Ultra!
Pros: The case has EXCELLENT airflow, which is to be expected with the amount of fans it comes with. The power supply mounts on the bottom of the case, which makes cable management MUCH easier. Its wide enough to fit any graphics card out there, although with the larger cards (like the 8800) you may have to remove the fan duct in the middle 3.5" cage. TONS of room to work.
Cons: The back 120mm fan blows outwards, and I had to flip it to blow inwards, the case is also a dust magnet, I have to constantly clean off the front and back fan intakes. An external fan speed control would have been nice, its a bit of a hassle having to open the case and flip a switch on eash fan to change fan speed.
Overall Review: The case isnts the loudest case out there but it sure isnt quite. I dont mind it much, but my of my 4 roommates, I have the loudest case.
