Cause for Reformat11/7/2010 6:02:08 PM

Pros: None

Cons: Drivers caused VIDEO Card errors. Monitor(s) (tried 3) would constantly lose signal no matter what was done. Tried to reinstall drivers, uninstall drivers, use Windows Wireless Networking controls, etc. Driver instability started an hour after Netgear drivers were installed. Scans of the HDD showed data corruption, registry corruption, file errors, etc, which occurred after the drivers started causing problems. The Netgear support is next to non-existent. The forum is run by one person who provides the same quoted help. As a result I heavily researched my problems and found many users who experienced the same issues. There was absolutely no way, with the knowledge I have after 30 years of computer usage, degrees, teaching, etc, to fix this problem without a full reformat. The unit itself gets extremely hot when left on for any length of time, a problem for users such as myself who keep their computer up 24/7.

Overall Review: Do your research.

Works Perfectly2/22/2008 3:36:48 PM

Pros: Using this with Skype. Works right out of the box. Contains mounts for both the side of the monitor and a desktop stand. Sensitive and can be heard from across the room. Clear and crisp woth no feedback or nonsense.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Some people complain of feedback but that is the issue with the PC on the other end picking up your words with their speakers and then transmitting them back to you over their mic. This is not an issue with this mic at all. Simply ask them to mute their mic to test and you will see it is the software on their end not this mic on your end!

Solid Purchase2/22/2008 3:33:51 PM

Pros: Feels solid and confortable in my right hand. Buttons seem to respond well. USB Connector but contains a PS2 adaptor that works perfectly.

Cons: The middle "wheel" button seems to click at times when I click to fast on the Left button.

Overall Review: This is what a mouse should cost! Why spend anything more for something that just clicks around your GUI.

Works Great2/22/2008 3:32:10 PM

Pros: Works perfectly right out of the box. Connected and have no issues on my second PC using a Netgear RangMax router.

Cons: I wish it came in Glow-in-the-dark!

Overall Review: Network cable should not cost a bundle. This is the way it should be, a few bucks for a few feet. Pretty much all cable is the same why pay more for the same thing!

Perfect for the Cost2/22/2008 3:30:06 PM

Pros: Feels great, Plug-n-Play, no problems. Great construction, feels solid, well worth the money.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: This keyboard is missing all the fancy multimedia keys - but that is the way I like it!

Does not function as advertised2/13/2008 11:35:19 PM

Pros: Super easy to set up. Basic use works great, including wireless. Great for people who do not need to use any port forwarding.

Cons: Port forwarding/Triggering/DMZ do not function at all. The router will only forward packets after I click "apply" and update the settings. After a few minutes to an hour (it always varies) the router will start blocking those ports again. Even in DMZ I am experiencing this issue.

Overall Review: Firmware support is very poor. Tech support is outsourced and they are very rude. The *official* netgear forum is full of posts complaining about this router. Do the smart thing and don't buy it.
