Pros: Reasonably cheap and fast. Was working fine before formatting it.
Cons: After several months of use on my Canon 1D Mk4, I had to reformat the card. Now, the problem is that Windows 7 tries to format it either as exFAT or NTFS and does not want to let me have 64GB FAT32 card. Camera can see only FAT32, so it does not see Windows-formatted card, and also cannot format the card by itself. So, now I am left with the card I almost cannot use. I got my old Win XP computer, and formatted card as 32GB FAT32. My camera can see this now, but still cannot format it properly. Therefore, I still can use the card as 32GB, but not as 64GB. Tried fat32format.exe to get full card formatted as FAT32, but camera cannot read card after this utility. Waiting for reply from manufacturer on how to format it back to original state...
Second SanDisk failing in a week...
Pros: It was working...
Cons: It failed... while it was not supposed to...
Overall Review: Only 3.5 years, and it is dead... I really was considering before that SanDisk is the most reliable manufacturers of the memory cards and SSDs, but apparently two very different items are failing within a week show that I was wrong...
Failed after ~7 years of use...
Pros: Was right product from reliable manufacturer
Cons: Failed, and warranty info is wrong
Overall Review: SanDisk says this product has 5 year warranty (https://www.sandisk.com/home/memory-cards/sd-cards/sandisk-sd), but NewEgg was/is saying that the product has lifetime warranty. I bought the card based on its lifetime warranty, and now feel cheated. Bad practice, whoever uses incorrect info...
Is it a joke?
Pros: it worked...
Cons: Bought two of them in 2010, one died by 2014, second by 2018. > 1M hour operation guaranteed, seriously? regular HDDs work better...
This is my response to the previous review
Pros: Could be great if they are real...
Cons: Bought these from NewEgg sellec called ALLFOX Co,Ltd - now it does not exist. Contacted San Disk. Did several tests on the flashdrives (complete format of each, write/read attempts, etc) and after all, got a response that the flashdives I got "do not seem to be of an authentic San Disk brand retail product." Now have no idea what to do...
Broken...
Pros: Light, small, cheap...
Cons: Does not work. The plastic wall holding heating element is broken out of box.
Overall Review: Wonder if they are all broken, doubt this can happen during shipping...
