Great Mouse

Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - USB
Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 - USB

Pros: Works reliably and is responsive

Cons: The "back" button doesn't seem to do anything

Overall Review: This mouse is too small for my hands (I have about normal size hands for a man), but my wife loves it as it's a perfect fit for her small hands.

Most Critical Review

Decent for the price

BUFFALO LinkStation Pro Duo 2-Bay Diskless Enclosure High Performance Network Attached Storage (NAS) - LS-WVL/E
BUFFALO LinkStation Pro Duo 2-Bay Diskless Enclosure High Performance Network Attached Storage (NAS) - LS-WVL/E

Pros: Price

Cons: As a few other reviews stated it's slow. I can't get more than 10 MB/S write speed. When I set the power switch to auto it will never wake up. I'm not using the bloatware that came with the product though so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I gave it a static IP on my network and mapped it as a drive. I did reach out to support about these issues, but I never heard anything back. A quick search on their support forms showed my complaints were fairly common though.

Overall Review: Overall it's a good unit and does what I need it to, I just wish I could figure out the auto power issue so I don't need to manually turn it off when I'm not going to use it for a while.

Great Concept, Terrible Execution

Car Kit MP3 Player Wireless FM Transmitter Modulator USB SD MMC LCD With Remote
Car Kit MP3 Player Wireless FM Transmitter Modulator USB SD MMC LCD With Remote

Pros: Price, Great concept. I love the idea of being able to play my music from an SD card so I don't have to plug my phone into the a regular FM Transmitter

Cons: Where do I start: Terrible sound quality. I don't know if this is just defect in my device or in the model, but it doesn't transmit in stereo and the FM transmission is on the weak side. So the sound quality is so bad I won't be able to use this thing going forward, and I'm not an audiophile by any means. There are no manuals or instructions included and the interface for browsing songs from an SD card is not intuitive (and I'm a tech geek and programmer). The screen is far too small and the controls are slow to respond. So changing songs while driving or even at a light is next to impossible. This device cannot read tags on songs. Selecting songs is based exclusively on the folder system. Max capacity of 8 GB for SD Cards Since selecting the music I want is so difficult the primary reason I bought this is gone Now for aux Since SD is unusable I tried the Aux cable The Aux cable connection never fully connects so it always feels loose. There are other devices where the sound quality is far better than this thing.

Overall Review: I've been using FM transmitters for a long time time (since 2001), this one has the absolute worst sound quality of any of the ones I've tried. I haven't used a device that browses folders since the very first installed HD I put in my car in 2001. Do not buy this product.

Great Memory

CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X2048-6400

Pros: Memory worked great immediately after install

Cons: None

Overall Review: I've been buying Corsair memory for a long time and it has never disappointed me. Can't recommend this brand enough.

Good card for the Money

GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 1.5GB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - 631077-001 OEM
GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 1.5GB 192-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - 631077-001 OEM

Pros: Solid card with for the money. It improved the gaming performance of my rig quite a bit.

Cons: For a GT 440 the graphics processor is slow, and when I installed the driver for this card it also blew up the driver for my sound card so I had to re install that, but I know what I'm doing so it only took a few min.

Overall Review: For someone with limited technical knowledge that could have been a major issue.

Does the jom

Lexmark X Series X264dn MFC / All-In-One Up to 30 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB Laser Printer
Lexmark X Series X264dn MFC / All-In-One Up to 30 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB Laser Printer

Pros: Fast, other than that nothing remarkable

Cons: The software is clunky and scanning is more difficult than it should be. You have to start the process from a computer (after you put the document on the scanner) then go back to the device to start the scan, way more painful than it needs to be.
