Pros: The item itself is beautiful. Hummingbirds love it. People see it and ask where we got it from. Not much else to say there.
Cons: Hummingbirds do take a few days to get used to it. But once they do, all is well.
Pros: The backpack fits 2 laptops (17" + 13") easily with room to spare. It's a very comfortable backpack and seems quite sturdy.
Cons: None really, if you do your research. If you need more pockets, get another pack. This one is great for the price and size.
Pros: It mounts on the wall easily. It oscillates very fast. If you put it up high enough, due to the speed of the thing, it's almost like having a ceiling fan. The 'Low' speed is actually quite fast. Easy construction (it's mainly all plastic and snap-together). Fairly quiet.
Cons: It's not exactly whisper-quiet. And if you move it around much/take it apart much, I suspect the plastic snaps may break.
Overall Review: Newegg ships fast. Way fast. Need I say more?
Pros: It works. And it works well. This isn't a 'new' mouse due to the fact that it's been around for years. I've had one of these before (it was lost during a move) and that's why I bought this one. I can safely say that Logitech hasn't broken anything that didn't need fixing.
Cons: I'm not a huge fan of the look of the thing. But hey, you can't have it all. And, Logitech is hard-headed about Linux drivers. Though some xorg.conf hacking can allow you the full utility of this mouse.
Overall Review: Games, games, games. This sucker is great with FPS, RTS, you name it. For the day-to-day use, the buttons on it help a lot and increase productivity.
Pros: The 'Activities' are auto-populated based on the device you have. You have a good level of control for these Activities after they are setup. You can create custom ones easily via the software. Software was a breeze to install on Mac OS X Leopard. Touchscreen works great.
Cons: Touchscreen is a bit too sensitive. But hey, it's a touchscreen. Obstructions can cause signals to miss their targets. So you kind of need line of sight. No big deal.
Overall Review: Be sure to check the options in the software. You can turn off the 'Remote Assistant' from there.
Pros: I'm an audiophile. But I currently live in a tiny apartment. The setup was ridiculously easy. Mount your speakers, run good cable (don't use the stuff that's included), hook up, and use the automatic speaker setup. It's more than adequate for small spaces.
Cons: Cables. Get some better ones.
Overall Review: I'm not sure how this setup would fare in a large home theater room. I'll try this system out when I buy my first house in the near future.
Pros: For the average consumer, these drives are great. If you desire more speed, seek elsewhere. But for the low-noise fanatics out there, these are awesome. In an enterprise environment, these could be useful for a storage cluster that requires low-use. If you're on a budget and can't afford SAS drives or expensive cooling equipment, give these a look. I'm going to buy a bunch and setup an array for archiving data.
Pros: For the price, these are excellent monitors. I've got 2 of them and setting them up in Ubuntu wasn't too hard. A very nice upgrade from 2 17inch LCD's. Yes yes, many would say that 1680x1050 looks better on a 20inch monitor. I mind now. These are great. No dead pixels, great refresh rate, colors are fine, Newegg ships ridiculously fast, etc.
Cons: Speakers are frankly useless. Do not buy these monitors for the speakers. You will be sorely disappointed.
Pros: Zoom, AA batteries, takes MMC and SD cards, grips well in the hand, looks like a SLR, takes pictures fast, lightweight, battery life, the LCD screen, need I go on?
Cons: Comes with a 16MB card, but whatever. That allows us freaks and geeks some flexibility in terms of purchasing larger capacity cards.
Overall Review: I've taken about 1200 pics so far and the batteries have yet to give out. Of course, I'm using some decent rechargeable batteries.
Pros: Works with MMC, SD, and CF cards that I own. No problems under Windows XP 64-bit edition. Works under Linux (Ubuntu distro) just fine as well.
Overall Review: It's silver! Matches my silver case very well. Bandwidth tests prove that it transfers at USB 2.0 rates.
Pros: This is a simple case. It's very elegant. Lots of room everwhere and fan locations are good. No trouble installing anything.
Cons: The harddrive 'cage' isn't easily removed. No fan for the top vent included.
Overall Review: Overall, I love this case. It's light and beautiful.
Comments: ...it's a little flimsy. Don't drop it or bang it up at all. But hey, for the price, it's just fine.
