Good out of the box with Samsung GDDR6 and TU104-400A-A1 GPU2/4/2019 2:42:02 PM

Pros: Per CPU-Z the card I received has Samsung GDDR6 and the TU104-400A-A1 GPU. I've heard you could still get Micron, though I've seen in the forums that some of the earlier RMA'd cards with Micron received replacement cards using Samsung. Booted in my old build, awaiting delivery of my Corsair Vengance RGB DDR4 RAM (also from Newegg). Card booted without incident, and I was quite happy to see the Samsung GDDR. Won't really be able to put it though its paces until I complete my new build next week. - For the brief period I ran the card, the 3D active fans worked properly. Fans did stop (per spec) when the GPU was idling. None of the "revving" other users have reported.

Cons: None yet, but for those with smaller cases, note this card is long at 11+ inches.

Overall Review: As others have noted, the RGB logo on the top of the card is "Gigabyte", not "GEFORCE RTX". Given that the RTX 2070s also started to have issues, I had planned to buy the RTX 2070 Founders Edition at the $600 list price. However, getting an OC'd 2080 for only $100 more (plus both Battlefield V & Anthem), seemed a worthwhile risk. Time will tell.

Used vs. Refurb3/1/2012 6:51:16 PM

Pros: Unit does function. Paired immediately. Easy to touch type on. Significant discount vs brand new item.

Cons: Item is obviously used vs a factory refurb. As noted in one of the "Logitech 920-003393x Keyboard Case for iPad 2 Silver", a black marker was used to cover some of the engraved info on the back. Not clear why. Comes off with alcohol. I knew this in advance, but you cannot use any covers when sliding the iPad 2 into slot.

Overall Review: After the promo code, not a bad buy. Likely would have been unhappy if I had been unable to remove the black marker from the back.

Everything they said it was1/14/2011 5:33:03 PM

Pros: Have not overclocked yet, waiting my new cooler to arrive. As everyone has said, very fast at stock speeds, and does run relatively cool with the stock fan. Built with the following components: Lian Li PC-B10 (from Newegg) ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Intel Core i7 2600K (Newegg) Thermalright MUX-120 Black GTX580 CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 Crucial C300 128GB SATA III SSD WD VelociRaptor 600GB 10K RPM 32MB Cache 6.0Gb/s Plextor PX-L890SA (Newegg) Can't wait to start to overclock.

Cons: The stock cooler on the low end of the spectrum and still uses the push pins to mount.

Overall Review: A search on i7-2600K cooler will return images of both the stock cooler and the 'deluxe' Intel small tower cooler with a 92mm fan and is mounted via a baseplate. I thought perhaps the upper end K CPUs came with the tower, as they are intended to be OC'd. The tower cooler is NOT the one shipped in the retail box. It's a separate item Intel BXXTS100H DHX-B.
