Does what it needs to
Pros: It wasn't DOA, they're quiet, and work well. What more can you want from a simple harddrive? Oh yeah, cost. You can't beat the price either!
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: You really can't go wrong here. A good drive for a fair price.
Great NAS Device!
Pros: I don't know why people keep saying this is so hard to set up. Its really not that bad at all, you only need to follow the directions. Updating the OS can be a bit tricky because there's a slightly confusing cyclic instruction on the interface about powering down the device, but once you figure that out its a breeze. I put some WD Caviar Green drives in there, and it was a breeze! I was please to find that operation was very quiet as well. This is big for me because the ReadyNAS acts as my Logitech Squeezebox Server for my Logitech Squeezebox Touch that I use for my hi-fi headphone rig. This unit works VERY well as a music server.
Cons: I can see how if you're really not into tech (aka your son or daughter bought you an iPhone to get you up to tech speed...) this might be too much to take without assistance. Other than that, don't worry - you'll be fine.
Overall Review: Connect to ethernet on your LAN network for much faster transfer speeds when you need to backup large databases or files.
Good product
Pros: Been using this motherboard for a few days now. I haven't encountered any problems with the hard ware so all is well.
Cons: It comes with a bit too much "cr@p". Too many programs that make you think they will run your mobo faster or better. I guess they're just not my thing. You can choose not to install them if you want, which is what I did, and that is why I'm still leaving this product at 5 stars - what it deserves.
Solid CPU
Pros: Just popped this on my mother board this weekend. Running a solid 3.2GHz. I overclocked it around 8% to 3.46GHz and it ran fine I guess. Overclocking is kind of overrated anyways so I put it back to standard clocking speed.
Cons: The stock CPU cooling fan isn't very effective. If you plan on overclocking definitely go buy the $35 CoolerMaster one from newegg.
Overall Review: Overall a solid, fast CPU. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
Good RAM for the price.
Pros: I threw these 8 gigs in a new build of mine. Keeps my games and programs running fast.
Cons: None.
RAID 0 Fun
Pros: I set two of these bad boys up in RAID 0 this weekend on my new build. They work well, store stuff, what else is there to say?
Cons: None really. They're running fine.
