Pros: Purchased to upgrade my 40GB PS3 hard drive. After backing up my PS3 it was a matter of pulling out the old and dropping in the new. PS3 boots right up and your ready to go. Great cheap upgrade

Pros: I have purchased 3 of these drives for 2 custom builds. First build I used 2 drives in a raid 1. Have had 0 issues with the drives and are as fast as you can expect for a mechanical 7200rpm drive. For the size and for 50 its a good deal. Have almost always used Hitachi drives in my personal builds.

Cons: The 3rd drive I purchased for a build I was making for my girlfriend. Put the drive in and instantly all I heard was the click of death and some beeping from the drive. Took it out and tried in my external enclosure with the same result. Drive was DOA. Will be RMA'ing for a replacement but have to remove an egg for this. I hope the replacement works as my previous 2 drives have.
