GIGABYTE 2.5" 120GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) GP-GSTFS31120GNTD
GIGABYTE 2.5" 120GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) GP-GSTFS31120GNTD

Pros: I have had it a week. It set up fast and easy and had no problems seems to be pretty quick.

Cons: None yet

Seagate BarraCuda 7200.12 ST31000528AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Was pretty Quick

Cons: Started Failing after 1.5 years but S.M.A.R.T was not catching it. Was causing the system crash but the symptoms made it look like other things. Figured out after total hard drive failure now Seagate wont help.

Overall Review: Hard Drive manufactures have gone way down hill on customer service.

So far I like it.

COUGAR MG120-G RGB Black Compact RGB Mini Tower Case with Tempered Glass Side Window
COUGAR MG120-G RGB Black Compact RGB Mini Tower Case with Tempered Glass Side Window

Pros: I have not found any sharp edges to cut myself on. Hard drive cage in power supply shroud is removable and can be put in other spots for clearance. looks really nice and comes with thumb screws.

Cons: There was not enough holes in the hard drive cage to bolt it into all the slots for it securely. Thumb screws in some spots were super tight and required tools to remove them even for me and I have really strong hands so this kinda defeats the purpose of having thumb screws. Some of the wire connectors are a bit loose and need re-crimped. Hard drive mounts on the front are too close to the mother board connectors on most boards and even moving them around did not help much.

Overall Review: I really like this product. I think that it has some features normally found on a much more expensive case and I will be buying more of these so I recommend them to other people

Fast and stable. Expensive and with faulty RGB Software

G.SKILL Trident Z RGB (For AMD) 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C14Q-32GTZRX
G.SKILL Trident Z RGB (For AMD) 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C14Q-32GTZRX

Pros: So I bought this for use with my Ryzen 2700x and run it does. BUT...

Cons: It is crazy expensive . I paid to get the fastest most stable thing I could with RGB. and the rgb software is utter garbage. It does not work right with ICUE like they say it does. their own software does not like working with this ram. 2 months fooling with it and 2 calls to tech support at about an 15 minutes each while being on hold for an hour and all I have is ram that can do BREATH/Pulse in red. I paid extra to have working rgb. I could have paid half the price to have no rgb and be super fast and stable. If skill could actually take the RGB software seriously and not ignore it for 8 months to a year it could be a winner.

Overall Review: Would I recommend this as ram that works? Yes. But there are so many other good options at half the price why would tell you to spend the extra money and not get what you paid for?

Decent case, could be better

DIYPC DIY-BG01 Black USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case with Pre-installed 3 x 120mm Fans
DIYPC DIY-BG01 Black USB 3.0 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case with Pre-installed 3 x 120mm Fans

Pros: The case looks nice and it comes with 3 fans. It had a lot of mounting options for drives.

Cons: Not a lot of space for a power supply. My mid sized Evga 750g barely fix with some coaxing. Which leads to the next issue. The hard drive cage is in the way of the power supply and can not be removed. it is riveted in place. Why? It could be retained with just 4 screws in the same place the 4 rivets are at. This is dumb. I could have built this computer 20 minutes faster if not for the rivets. Also given that a lot of people do not even need the 3.5 inch HD cage any more making it removable so they can put larger power supplies in makes even more sense. Other stupid issue. the front case fans have school molex connectors. Why? everyone hooks up via the MB unless they absolutely have to. now the front fans can not be picked up by the MB for speed control. These 2 items being fixed would move this case into a 4 or 5 egg instead of a 3 egg and it would cost them nary a thing to fix it.

Overall Review: This case would be good for someone who has experience building computer and is looking for one of the cheapest cases they can get

Standard 500 watt power supply.

COOLMAX I-500 500 W ATX Power Supply
COOLMAX I-500 500 W ATX Power Supply

Pros: Light weight and fairly quiet. should fit any standard sized case. Price is real good.

Cons: No real cons. power cables seem a bit thin but do not seem flimsy, they flex pretty well so it might be that was done that way on purpose.

Overall Review: I have not had it long enough to speak to the longevity buy I would buy it again for budget systems. it did the trick for the ryzen 3 system I just built.

Owner Tech Dragon Computer Services.

I paid for 3-5 day shipping and received my parts in 7 days. This was for a small business and the plan had been to do the repair during the weekend when they business was closed. Instead due to them not shipping in a timely manner I had to do the work in during the week costing both the customer and i money due to down time.
