Best Case on newegg under $100
Pros: I've built machines using this case. It has it all, 2x 120mm Fans + side vent for supplying cpu fan with cool air. Perpendicular HDD access. Sturdy, screwless design that works well. It just doesn't get better than this.
Cons: none
Beware incompatibility due to large footprint
Pros: looks like it would have cooled very well, price is cheap
Cons: claims to fit NVIDIA 7900GTX However it didn't fit mine, the footprint on this thing is enormous. My card had 1 capacitor within the area of the footprint that prevented install. so I'm out shipping and restocking fee. If your card has nothing sticking up between the DVI/AGP connectors and the GPU, then everything should be ok.
Overall Review: There are other options available with a much smaller design, if you're worried this could happen to you, check into some other fans.
Slick
Pros: *Cheap - I've been wanting to play with DDWRT for a while. $15 Shell Shocker gave me the opportunity *DD-WRT compatible
Cons: Mediocre wireless speed by modern standards, but for the price it's hard to complain
Overall Review: I flashed this baby with DD-WRT and got it Bridged and repeating in a couple hours, with no previous DD-WRT experience. It was fun and now I've got better coverage in my home.
Great CPU @ its pricepoint
Pros: I've built 2 systems around this CPU now, @ its pricepoint it can't be beat...checkout tom's hardware benchmarks if you're interested in how well this CPU performs
Cons: The Intel stock fans cool just fine, great in fact, and are easy to clean. However installing can be difficult. Sometimes its hard to tell if the push-in mounting gets properly installed, I've had them pop back out on me. after doing 7 of them, I think they could come up with something a little better.
Gave it a try
Pros: System is running stable, Price tag with rebate was spectacular. Heat spreaders are shiny blue..pretty good looking
Cons: none
Overall Review: never used G.Skill before, the price including the rebate made me consider them, due to the high rating from my newegg peers I decided to give um a shot. So far I'm very pleased
Great GTS Card
Pros: This card is nice option for those who don't want to drop the $ for the GTX or GT the overclocked GTS with the 640MB ram makes it a real contender and a nice step up from the standard 320, 500mhz GTS's, installed easily and is running nice and cool.
Cons: I've read that the overclocking ups the power consumption. However I'm running a 500w PSU with 4 HDDs and 2 DVD roms with no power issues. I guess the only con is my electric bill will go up.
Overall Review: Came with Crysis, making it a great deal...and Crysis really shows off the power of this card....wow just wow.
