Pros: small, cheap, flexible. Very good card. Great performance under Windows 7. Comes with everything you need.
Cons: system (bios) rebooted three times before card worked, I was worried at first. Then the auto-install disk did not recognize the card. After downloading drivers from the inter-webs it now works flawlessly and I am very happy.
Overall Review: none so far
Pros: Nice, cheap, light weight, didn't break when wife stuck memory card not only in wrong slot, but backwards. Works great under Windows XP.
Cons: It couldn't stop my wife from inserting card in wrong slot and backwards....
Pros: ~lots of bang for the buck
~very quiet for having 3 fans
~good fps in Star Citizen and any other game I played
Cons: as others have said, this card is big. I MEAN BIG.
B I G G E R
yea, THAT big. I have a full sized case and still I had to bend an aluminum cage out of the way.
also, as others have said, very little in the way of instructions/manuals etc. Enjoy discovering things like the 'mystery' button, the blue 'heat' lights, and if the new Omega drivers work for your system or not ( they didn't for me, I had to roll-back )
Overall Review: If you can make it fit in your case, I highly recommend this card for the current price ( $189 or less after rebate ). It works very well in pci-e 2.0 & 3.0 systems, and will Crossfire well with 1, 2, or 3 more cards when upgrading into a x99/ddr4 system in the future.
Pros: This is a well built, solid, yet very small unit that works very, very well. Simple to use, yet advanced controls for experts. The camera has OK video resolution and automatic contrast adjustment, but very basic. A blast to fly with excellent joystick feel once you get accustomed to the very sensitive controls. Very cool looking with LED lights (which you can turn off). Well worth the price. Will survive minor crashes, but I 100% recommend using the rotor guard.
Cons: extremely fast spinning blades means it can be dangerous. use the rotor guard and if your doesn't come with one, buy one! steep learning curve because of very sensitive controls. NOT for little kids,
Overall Review: an amazing entry level "drone"
Pros: cools very well
Cons: after just over a year, the fan is now out of balance and making a shuddering noise.
Pros: ~works amazingly well for $31.00
~small and light weight
~digital and automatic
~very easy to set and use
~includes everything you need except the herb
Cons: CHEAP! you get what you pay for. $31=$31, but what a great $31 it is! It's well worth every penny even if it only lasts 2 or 3 months. The green light is supposed to 'come on' when it's ready to use, but mine is always on. Be patient, it takes 3 to 5 minutes to completely warm up when first turned on. Don't touch the hot area, but from an inch or two you will feel the heat come off the unit when it's ready.
Overall Review: For $31 i was very skcepticle, but right now I can hardly type! It's awesome.
Pros: super cheap. Tons of functions, tons of inputs and rca outputs. works flawlessly.
Cons: aweful sound. BUT for all the functions you get, and for only $66, what more could you ask for?! I added an Infinity Basslink 10" self powered sub to this system, and great-goog-a-le-moo-ga-lee it now sounds like a competition system, so yeah i'm very happy with it.
Overall Review: you get a lot for $66.... just not very good sound. expect to add an external EQ, amp or powered sub.
Pros: Tight, clean bass. Very little 'flutter' even at high volume.
Cons: will anger your wife because it takes up valuable grocery room
Overall Review: this will turn a piece of junk $66 stereo into a 77 virgin love fest for your ears.
Pros: Very good quality. Good rating. Lots of room because it is LARGE!
Cons: This is not a 'con', but it's LARGE! Don't expect to fit this in a small area.
Pros: 5 star review and this baby earns it! This is one amazing sub, pure and simple. It's best if you use a receiver with dedicated sub out (usually a single RCA type cord).
Somewhere i read to 'warm' this baby up... so I put in on low volume, cranked the low end cut off way down low, and let it warm up a few hours. Call me nuts, but I also switched the phase from 0 to 180 periodically during this warm up period. After about 2 hours, it was time to crank it up. Good lord. Pure low rumble, beautiful. Receiver I set it up on is a Sony STR-DN1040, but any dedicated sub out should work perfect since it isn't a powered out.
Cons: None what so ever, it's heavy like it should be, and after waiting a few weeks I got it for $209 on newegg, and sweet pickled pigs feet does it thump!
Overall Review: If you can get it for under $200, let me know, I'll buy another!
Pros: The longer a cable is, the more shielding it needs, and this baby is shielded. Almost to the point of being overkill. Somewhat flexible as well for how thick it is. Very good quality. This is the 2nd 'Kaybles' purchase (first was a 35' hdmi cable) and I have been very pleased with both. Construction coded and worthy to bury inside a wall. For a $1 a foot you cant go wrong.
Cons: absolutely no cons, worth every penny.
Overall Review: Even if you don't need 50', and you think 35' feet would be enough, go with the 50', the 50' much thicker shielding and gives you the flexibility that a longer cable gives.
Pros: works as it should, works both directions ( Sata to IDE and IDE to sata)
Overall Review: g
Pros: great marketplace seller, fast shipping, works like it should, no problems... except....
Cons: i had issues using this in a system that already had USB 3.0. I thought I could get more USB 3.0 slots, but after installing this card in my Biostar A85W motherboard system, no other USB 3.0 slots would work, not the front, not the back. Seems the drivers for this disable the on-board USB 3.0?
Anyways I have an old non USB 3..0 computer I can put it into, so I'm still pretty happy
Pros: inexpensive, well made, comfortable, awesome mid-range and bass
Cons: high's get muddled at high volume, but come on, for $13 what do you want??
Overall Review: buy them, can't go wrong for $13
Pros: It's decent, strong, comes with lots of parts, roomy. and pretty.
Cons: The motherboard mounts directly against the 'ceiling' of the case, giving you little room for a radiator type cpu cooler like it's designed for.
Overall Review: for price, it still gets 5 eggs
Cons: forced me to upgrade to PRO after 6 months to OPEN a zip file, what the HECK? no thank you
Overall Review: junk
Pros: Plugged two into my Biostar A85W motherboard with AMD A10 CPU (FM2 socket) and it read them as 1600, with one bios click they run at a smooth and fast 2133.
Cons: i like the anodized look of the ARES series ram from G.Skill. These are supposed to have a 'sniper rifle' in the side of them but its kind of hard to see.
Overall Review: can't go wrong with these chips unless you are trying to install them into a laptop or into your moms cat.
Pros: does what it should, plug and play, no drivers to slow your system down, one usb 3.0 and memory card slots run at 3.0 speeds.
Overall Review: worth the money
Pros: Crisp, bright (which some people complain about but it can be toned down), very nice.
Cons: like others have stated, the base is too small or light cause on a shaky desk it wobbles. Lucky my desk is solid and it only wobbles when I bang on the desk in rage when getting schooled in World of Tanks.
Overall Review: i love it
Pros: CHEAP, FAST, CHEAP & FAST
Cons: I wish the APU Dual Graphics was compatible with newer high powered video cards, oh well. It rocks with NO graphics card, so I'm happy. Probably buy a graphics card when the 4GB DDR5's get under $200.
Overall Review: Been an Intel nerd since '97, after researching AMD for weeks, multiple reviews, i decided to save about $150 for a comparable system. Glad I did.
Pros: Easy set-up, intuitive, fast and pretty. On board temp and error code display is nice ( especially w/ see-thru case ). I had no problems with the SATA ports, north and south bridge run nice and cool. Software temp read-out was the same as what the motherboard said.
Cons: complaint #1: with the T-overclocker software, there are several 'automatic' modes for overclocking, V3, V6, V8 bla bla bla WHAT DOES IT MEAN? I don't like overclocking my CPU and motherboard when I have no clue what these automatic settings do. After using the automatic settings you can go back and try to figure out what they changed, but I'd rather not.
complaint #2. I don't know if its Windows 7 home 64, or the motherboard or what, but there is no 'jack insertion detection' for the front audio. I have to turn off the front audio detection setting to get the front jacks to work. Not a big deal but took forever to figure out what was going on. If anyone knows the fix to this please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Overall Review: Very nice, good for the money. Screaming fast w/ AMD A10, G.Skill ARES memory (1866 works very well) and Kingston Hyper-X SSD
Pros: super fast, windows home 7 64bit cold boots to full operation in 9 seconds ( on an AMD A10 ) Best specs i found for a 120 gig drive in its price range. came with a mounting kit and a portable kit, entire setup looks very nice.
Cons: not much documentation or installation instructions..
Overall Review: after two weeks research on SSDs this was my choice. fastest performance, best reviews, lowest price.
Pros: light, comfortable, good sound, cord is "sleeved" and very nice.
free with biostar motherboard, might have paid $20 for them anyways.
Cons: they are made for med to small heads. I have a massive pumpkin head and they don't fit quiet right. If you have a massive pumpkin head like me, consider a larger style. they are still comfortable but the ear cups don't fit snug enough to block out all the background noise... stupid pumpkin head of mine.
Overall Review: there is a volume control on the cord, seems good quality
Pros: quiet, quiet quiet. My #1 concern was noise, and this fan is quiet. Also has pretty blue LED's that aren't too bright.
comes with rubber mounts ( i used them, they work well ) and metal screws if needed. seems to move lots of air for how quiet it is.
Cons: MINOR CON: the power cable includes both the large 4 pin power connector and small Mother Board 3 pin fan control connector, which is nice, but i wish there was an adapter instead of having both plugs on the cord at all times.
Overall Review: it's quiet. very good for the price
Pros: beautiful blue led lights, high quality components, nice black sleeve, the fact that it fits in a PCI slot and controllable from outside of the computer case is a nice feature... as a note, it doesn't actually USE a PCI slot on your motherboard, it just uses an opening in your case (it will work if you have a tiny case with all your PCI slots taken up, you would have to leave the controller someone else inside the case, you just would have to leave it on your favorite setting)
Cons: MINOR CONS: even though it has 3 brightness settings, which are very nice in general, i would have liked to see the lowest setting get dimmer than it is. also, in the next model, maybe more settings, a 'chase' pattern, a 'slow pulse' patters, some other lighting options, might as well, the parts are all there, just gotta program it.
Overall Review: worth the money, a well-made, quality item. add's value and class to your case.
