Great board for a Z590-A Chipset

MSI Z590-A PRO LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI Z590-A PRO LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I've been building computers for over 30 years, beginning with 286 processors. Over that period you get to know manufacturers pretty well. I now only use Asus, MSI, and EVGA boards. This board is more than sufficient for gamers when paired with high end components. For this build I used an Intel i7 11th gen processor with UHD750 graphics built in, 32 gig of ballistic 3200 ram, and Hynix NVMe M.2 500gig storage, along with a 500 gig HHD. Case is an Antec DP 502 Flux. 650 watt modular power. Overclocking is a breeze with this board. The supplied cooling fan along with 5 case fans= no over heating. I used a separate bluetooth/WiFi Adapter. The customer will want a Nvidia RTX when he can afford one (not available and overpriced at this time.)

Cons: None. All features of the board works as advertised

Overall Review: Great board for LGA1200 which works with both 10th and 11th gen. Intel processors, layout works well. More than enough fan sockets (3 pin), works with led fans. UEFI bios is layed out well, and updates from a flash drive easily. I had zero problems with the build!

FLAT OUT

Pros: Installs tightly in the Antec 900 case. NO problems with the board. Fired up the first time. RAID-0 works fine with the RaptorX's. I also used a couple of Seagate SATA-1 drives I had on hand, but NOTE the cables that come with the MOBO are for newer drives and would not work on the seagates. (wouldn't lock on) VERY satisfied with the setup-which is: Antec 900 case; Antec TRI Power 650; 4Gig Corsair Dominator 800 Ram; 2xWD Raptor X 150; 2xSeagate 80Gig Sata-1; Intel E6600; EVGA 800 GTS 640; LG DVD-RAM super drive. BUY THIS BOARD!! Thanks Newegg!

Cons: Cons: The SATA ports almost interfere with the 8800 and the HD drive mounted at the same level. Again the sata cables provided with the MOBO doesn't seat on older drives. I had to use my original cables.

Overall Review: I highly recommend this board for both gaming and home server. It's ability to use 6 sata drives in any raid configuration can do just about any job you have. combined with any high level Intel processor (E600 and above) you will find your machine will be the fastest one you've ever owned. The NTune soft solution works perfectly with Windows XP Pro, and the Nvidia Control program lets you perform even over-clocking tasks from indside windows.
