Pros: Great card for the price as the others have already said. RcvdFree Batman Arkham City and beat it a couple of days ago on Ultra settings. I don't think I'll go back to playing on console ever again (I even downloaded Dead Space 2 from Origin even though I already have it for XboX just to see the difference).
Fits in easy with my Biostar Motherboard and the installation disk comes with its own overclocking software. JUST BEWARE. As obvious as it sounds, you are going to want to provide additional cooling if you're REALLY going to bump up the shader clock, GPU clock etc or you'll begin to artifact big time.
1) Battlefied 3: 1080p all settings ultra: Runs fine* (check con for a small "albeit")
2) Crysis: Runs at least 40+ FPS on 1080p on everything very high
3) Witcher 2: Bumped up the performance (with the overclocking software) ran 40+ fps.
4) Arkham Asylum: Chewed it up ad spat it out like butter. 50+ fps
Best bang for buck card out there
Cons: * (from above) within the first 10 mins of playing Battlefield 3 receive a significant slowdown in game performance. It will last for maybe 25 - 45 seconds and then I continue playing the rest of the game with no problem.
Other than that, yes the card IS a bit loud but when you're already buying pieces for a new rig that have enough horsepower to bring a single tear to Chuck Norris' eye then they have to sound like an F/A-18.
Overall Review: As the title says above, I'm going to want to SLI this bad boy just so that I can get the most out my system. I figure within 6 months I'll slap another one on and I'll be happy. (I could always sell this card and upgrade to 580 but I think it'll be less of a hassle to just get another 570)
Pros: So this computer has everything you need to get started. Video, Audio (i'll talk about this one more), processor, dvd etc. I personally bought this computer because I didn't want to go through the hassle of putting one completely together again from scratch. So I figured I would get something with DVD, HD, OS, MOBO all installed. I would def recommend to anyone who wants to get something to build up.
Cons: The only problem i had was that NewEgg stated that the audio supported 5.1 surround sound. So I went ahead and purchased a nice logitech 5.1 surround sound system. Much to my dismay, it was just a normal stereo jack from the mobo. So I have to put away 3 out of the 5 speakers of mine. I'm still happy with the sound quality and the subwoofer sounds great. NewEgg needs to update the specs of the computer.
Overall Review: So I bought this computer and these were the add ons I made:
- added 550W PSU
- added 2 G of Kingston DDR Ram
- add eVGA Nvidia 7900GT video card (256mb)
- added D-Link DWL-AG530 PCI Wireless Adapter
Wish I had more PCI slots.
Pros: This monitor is very wide!! I'm just excited because I've been staring into a 15" laptop screen for the last year and a half. However, at 1440 x 900, this makes a great flat screen for gamers. FEAR and GUILD WARS look great on it. The stand it comes with is perfect to place anywhere. Fits in tight spots as well.
Cons: A little difficult at first to remove the back panel.
Overall Review: I still need to figure out how to get rid of the "digital" indicator every time i switch from game to windows and back.
